I wish Yelp would allow Zero ratings! This is why:
I am looking to purchase a home, for the first time, and was referred to the bank Mgr: Jim Natale, and was excited to get things rolling. With this being my first time purchasing a home, the entire experience, is new to me. I was asking so many questions, that I was hoping my intellect wasn't frowned upon.
Now, initially, the communication between myself and Mr. Natale, or as he says, "call me Jim", was great. He seemed personable, friendly, and "on my side." After being asked numerous questions, (more like an interrogation), about my demographics and finances, "Jim", told me that he couldn't give me a true definite, without running my credit.
I don't know much about home buying, but I am aware of "hard hits" vs "soft hits" on my credit report, and this was going to be a hard hit! I also know where my credit score and history stand. To avoid the hard hit, I shared my credit score, (from my last check), and my history. I said to Mr. Natale, (I don't care to call him Jim any longer), that I'm not comfortable with you running my credit, unless you are sure my loan application will process.
He insisted that on running my report.
Moving forward, I got a voicemail, from Mr. Natale, telling me to give him a call; that there are things that I need to do in order to better my credit, assuming he was willing to work with me. I mean, why leave a voice message, offering help, if you're not going to help??
And that's the last time I've heard from him. Nothing. Nada. Nunca. Crickets!
I've called him and left a voice message asking him to follow up. I've emailed him, asking about his follow up. He emailed me back once, asking me to tell him my availability and that he'll give me a call. And once again, crickets! He completely vanished.
His unprofessionalism tells me that, because of my credit, I am not worth his time and verbal promises of contacting me back. And if this is how he behaves with potential customers, I Can Only Imagine how his bank handles loans for other customers. Maybe I dodged a big bullet with this bank.
(How can a manager of any business treat their customers or potential customers with such unprofessionalism and carelessness? I could never own a business or lead a business, and treat individuals as such.
Shame on you! read more
