After my appraisal was completed and right  before my refinance was scheduled to close, I got a call stating that that rate could not be delivered and that my new rate was going to be 4.625%. I couldn't believe it as I thought that my rate had already been locked at 3.875%. I had them cancel my loan and completed it with Quicken at 4.0% with $2600.00 less in closing costs. Those rip off artists at Allied wouldn't even refund the cost of my appraisal and I ended up having to spend additional funds for a second appraisal. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Hours later, I call them and the system is still down. Are you kidding me? A Bank, or CU Down for more than a few minutes? I told them if I didn't have it up by end of day I'd escalate. This is my escalation. Maybe one day they will learn to get it right!
