When she pulled out her tax "Bible" she confirmed that my status was correct, but insisted on continuing to argue with me to the point that I stood up, collected my forms and left the office. If you want to pay somebody hundreds of dollars to prepare your taxes who will argue with you before you even enter a single number by all means use the hacks. Well when I walked in the year to get my taxes done my wife started collage last year so we had that education credit this year. So before he started to do our taxes I asked him if it will hold up the rest of our refund. He assured me it won't because I told him my family has a big vacation at the end of march and we NEED that money. I told him if its going to hold things up then just don't include it. But again he said it won't be a problem. So.... Here I am on march 13 still no refund and when I called the irs MYSELF they told me it will be another 4-6 weeks before I get it. He also told me that the let turbo tax and H&R block know ahead of time if they filed people's taxes with that credit before feb.14 it would get placed in error and hold up the return (I filed on feb.2) so they knew about this ahead of time. So when I called yesterday asking them about this all I got was a "well... It's outa our hands now... There's nothing we can do about it" well I understand there's nothing you can do about it now but a sorry would have been nice or something I mean.. I don't pay you guys $200 a hour to make screw ups that could have easily been avoided.. So thanks H&R... My little girls Disney vacation is destroyed because you lack of caring for your customers ...
