All EW do have a 5 day policy that if your not fully happy with the job you can come back in within 5 days to make you happy. I have been to a ton of waxing places. I have had my fair share of good, bad, ugly I really like EW as the concept has raised the bar and has gotten people out of the back room in a hair salon. They have masted the skill because it's all they do day in day out day and night. They never "double-dip" they use a clean and new stick every time!!!!! It's a big deal for my wife she's amazed by this concept. Wax in the morning, Wax in the afternoon, Wax in the middle of the night. The price is not cheap but it's worth it for the services, it's far better them shaving or using that stuff that burns your skin to remove your hair. This location has a lot of good going for it: Staff is friendly and professional, the location is clean, had lots of parking, next to a ton of other stores for you can get stuff done before or after your waxing. All EW have a very strict 5 min late policy, more then 5 min late give the ladies a call. The package deal (wax passes) are definitely a great buy!!!! Day of the appointment : I arrive on time, and ring the door bell (there's a sign clearly stating the door is locked for client privacy and ring doorbell to enter for appointment) a few minutes pass, I assume she's with another client who's time is running over - no answer .. I ring it again. No answer. I decided to call, it's 80° outside, no sign of the person doing the service, no audio back from the ring camera installed watching me stand there. No answer. Owner texts me back after I call and says that this is a text only line and asks if I want to make an appointment - I reply that I already have one for 12:15 and I'm outside. 8 minutes go by- no answer , so I replied again and asked for a refund and stated that this was very unprofessional. 12 minutes before she replies back!! (Look at the time stamps) and when she does she tells me she confused me with another client, reschedule the appointment with somebody who wasn't me, and essentially left for the day. Then proceeded to tell me she doesn't appreciate being called unprofessional. Well lady- I don't appreciate you BEING unprofessional. She tells me it's an error that's she's 7 years running etc etc... then sends me the screenshots of her conversation with the "other person"... with their phone number included - so client privacy is a zero. And to be honest- I didn't care at that point because my appointment was 15 minutes ago. (What I see here in addition to her not being there, was that she double booked the time and would've had to cancel on one of us regardless) She was argumentative and petty about the entire thing. I asked her for a refund 3 times in the thread, but she instead of professionally apologizing and doing so ... she just acted appalled like she wasted her time and was being called out of her name. She offered to reschedule, but why on earth would I want to sit in your space with you with your mentality of this situation? So again, I said a refund will do. With no empathy she tells me to contact Groupon. So yes, I will contact Groupon for my refund and share my feedback with Yelp and Google. Needless to say, I'll never go there again. And you shouldn't either. Pick another business. Waste of time. Waste of money. And yes, owner is definitely unprofessional Text threads attached. Please read before booking!
