They have the best nail technician we ever had. 5 stars were not enough, UNLIMITED STARS for y'all guys!! A really BIG THANK YOU to all artists who made our nails look fab especially the pretty nice lady from Dubai (I wish I got your name), but you're the BEST!! I loved my acrylic nails with unique design. How I wished I can bring you to US. Good luck to you.

Ever since I moved to Quezon City, I have been on the hunt for the perfect nail salon…read more Unfortunately, I have not had much luck in this department as I have had my way around too many nail salons in the Tomas Morato area alone. There are several issues that have lead to my withdrawal such as rude staff, incompetent nail technicians, noisy girls, bad music, foul smell or difficult parking. Yes, you can say that I'm kind of a perfectionist when it comes to looking for the perfect nail salon. Nail Cocktales has been my nail salon of choice for nearly a year now since I moved from my old salon. The place always smells so fresh and clean with equipment they apparently sterilize after every use. I have had the chance to get to know the owner and I am quite impressed by how she runs her business. The girl who used to do my nails moved to Dubai which is why Joane is my nail technician of choice these days. Make sure to look for her when you're in the area!

They had very comfy chairs and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I had them do a blue ombré using gel nail polish on my fingernails and just blue polish on my toes. Overall, I would go back to this location the next time I go to the Philipines. It is very affordable and the service is excellent!

Anything your heart desires you can get done. I highly recommend this place especially to expats and foreigners looking for that higher standard. YOU WILL GET IT HERE!! I will be flying to Manila every 2 weeks now to get my nails done.

The music was way too loud and definitely was not ambient and didn't contribute to a relaxing session. They barely had any materials to do the new trendy designs nowadays like ombre or chrome nails so I just went for a simple nail extension with solid gel color. This place didn't have a nail grinder which means the filing and shaping of the nail took forever because the lady had to do it manually for each nail. The cleaning method sometimes was too rough that my sister and I got knicked a couple times. I just got my nail extension removed yesterday only to find out that they didn't apply the nail extension glue properly which caused discoloration on my nails. I don't recommend this place! They're also way too expensive

The lady who attended to my nails was excellent, friendly and able to suggest what I should do with my nails shade, length and shape, plus additional massage while waiting for the polish to dry. After we went out, one of my nails got smudged as it turned out it was not fully dry, so I went back, and the lady was kind to redo it. Cleanliness is observed. I saw one sweeping the floor, and including areas that she can, that won't bother customers. Just minus one, because the lady who attended my sister was quite rushing, we started at the same time, and my sister finished 15 mins early. The price is reasonable; the seats are relaxing, and the staff is a luck, I guess if you happen to be with a friendly manicurist or not.

Make Me Blush Nail Spa & Beauty Lounge - Cute bird cage lights

Make Me Blush Nail Spa & Beauty Lounge

Last month, I tried this nail spa I heard so much about - Make Me Blush Nail Spa & Beauty Lounge…read more It's located at the third floor of Hemady Square (same building as The Bunny Baker) along E. Rodriguez Ave. cor. Doña Hemady St., just a little past Christ The King if you are coming from Araneta Avenue. Parking is free. You can park at the building basement, there's a guard and everything. There's the cute counter that greets you when you enter. The place has a cute, girly, beach-y vibe -- bright and spacious. I don't usually have my nails done since I cook, but a few times a year, I feel like I owe it to myself to do a little self-pampering. And hey, summer's about to end, so here I am! Doing this before summer's gone. The place is clean -- I noticed that the attendants cleaned up the work area when they're done and quickly set the place to rights. The place always looks clean and inviting, with everything in order. They also have a nice, clean restroom within their premises. I also totally love the decor! I love this style, like casual meets romantic beach cottage. Check out these French Louis style chairs! Love the "modern" upholstery! And these bird cage lights! I had the manicure + pedicure + foot spa spa package -- it costs P670.00 (see price list pic). MANI + PEDI + FOOT SPA I was given some polish swatches to choose from, and I ended up choosing a blue green color. The nail polish brands they use include Essie, Orly, Sally Hansen, Zoya, Cuccio. Two attendants worked on me simultaneously, that's why I couldn't take pictures, hahaha. My hands were otherwise unavailable. For the foot spa, my feet were soaked for about 5-10 minutes, after which, exfoliation began. My attendant, Che, used a wooden paddle foot file to remove callouses on my feet. Then she scrubbed my feet and lower legs and then moisturized them. She also did a little foot and lower leg massage! After the foot spa, she clipped my toenails and started the pedicure. Che was very patient and thorough - it took her a while to finish but I appreciate how thorough she was, trying to remove all the callouses, dry skin, etc... While this was going on, my other attendant, Roda, was working on my hands. She also did some hand massage. Both of them were strong and gave good, hard massages! It was great, and I was really tempted to get a full body massage right then and there! Roda was an expert at doing nails, I could tell. She was quick, sure, and done in less than 30 minutes! She asked me what shape I wanted for my nails. I requested to keep them short, square-oval. It bothers me when my fingernails are longer than my fingers - it just feels like something is wrong with my fingers, and typing and other tasks become cumbersome. Both attendants did not cause any pain. Truth be told, the cool, airconditioned, relaxing ambience and the non-painful mani + pedi had me dozing on and off during the entire thing! Both attendants had their own kits, and they used spray bottles to dispense liquids like cuticle removers, etc... the mani + pedi process was the typical one where they clean the nails with a metal scraper, trim off cuticles and dry skin, shape, file & buff the nails. Polish application includes a base coat, color, and top coat. After the mani + pedi, I just chilled & waited 15 minutes for the polish to dry before leaving. I didn't want to risk ruining them. They were so pretty! I love my nails! Can't wait to show them off! Aside from the usual Mani and Pedi, Make Me Blush Nail Spa & Beauty Lounge also offers massages, eyelash extension, waxing and threading, hair services, and spa parties! It's really a one-stop beauty place. It's a great stopover if you just need some time to yourself in between meetings. Or make it a frequent habit if you live nearby. I saw a lot of suki customers coming by towards 6pm. Unlike places in malls, being at Make Me Blush Nail Spa felt like being in another place where time passes by more slowly, it was like a micro-vacation

You can't have a bare, unfinished nail spa and expect customers to come flocking out of nowhere. With that said, Lulu Nails and Dry Bar is one of the most gorgeous nail spas I've ever been to. They have a mod classic look that's polished (no pun intended). The attention to detail in the design is impeccable. Space and comfort is never sacrificed to achieve this as well. You can rest assured that any nosy seatmates won't be peering down and reading any of your texts. The only demerit I can give Lulu is their location. If you don't know where it is, then you won't find it. They won't have any walk-in customers because of this unfortunate situation. I find it sad, really, as they deserve the business.

I recently tried out Lulu Nails and Dry Bar. One thing I liked about it is that it is secluded from other busy establishments. It is located in a building along Ortigas avenue, which makes parking a bit difficult, but I've been lucky the past few times I've been there. Their spa has a very homey feel with their not-too girly decors on the wall. Their lounge chairs are all lined up and appropriately spaced out, giving their customers enough space and breathing room. Their services are not the cheapest I've seen, but I guess they price it this way to get a good and quiet location. The first time I tried them out, I opted for their coffee foot spa, which includes a regular pedicure, foot scrub and massage. It was just ok. They could maybe do a bit more for the massage and scrub but at least the pedicure was thorough and clean. I was also lucky to have gotten a promo that day so I can't really complain. I also wanted to try to have a wax, but the waxing room seemed a bit too dark for me so I opted not to continue anymore. I'm not yet sure if Lulu Nails and Dry Bar would be my first option for future services, in terms of quality but if I'm looking for a nice, quiet place to truly relax and get away from all the busyness, then I'll definitely give them another shot.
