I made an appointment on their online appointment system more than 24 hours before the service (gel mani and regular pedi, nothing complicated) and I specifically made sure I picked a specific nail tech who had good reviews on Yelp and Google. 45 min before my appointment I get a phone call and text from the nail salon - I was in the shower so couldn't respond. No voicemail but the initial text had been unsent, and in a new text I was told to disregard and to come in as planned. I came in and I was given a totally different nail tech who I had specifically not picked simply because they didn't have experience. I then had a very sub par pedicure, with very unevenly filed nails , and poorly applied polish. I specifically wore flip flops to make it easier for the salon (so I wouldn't need the cheap and wasteful kind of salon flops) but instead of putting ANYTHING on my feet she told me to just walk barefoot over to the manicure station from the pedicure chair, across the room - what?!? So the entire manicure I'm sitting there barefoot, with my lotioned feet on the ground underneath the manicure table where numerous dirty shoes had been. So gross. The manicure was better, but polish was very poorly applied, with the sides not being fully done. When I went to checkout the price was still the same (85 dollars pre tip - which are prime prices for mani pedis - worth it for experienced techs but not in this case). I paid, left, annoyed - on the walk back to the hotel I caught a glimpse of the pedicure and realized she hadn't fully painted the tops of two toes - so I went back. She had left, another girl who worked there agree they looked bad. The salon called the woman so she'd come back - she did - she then proceeded to say it was basically my fault because my toe nails were cut too low before I got there (???) and that she could file them down so the white wouldn't be showing. Ok, why didn't you do that before? Of course, once she reshaped them and applied new polish they were fine. Should have been done from the beginning, and why are you blaming the customer for your initial shortcomings? I would have expected this type of service had I booked this new nail tech (for context - she told me this was the first time she put gray polish on nails - just to show how new she was...) but I specifically booked someone else. I understand that issues occur from time to time with scheduling issues (from chatter in the salon I gathered that the girl I had scheduled with had double booked and they called the new girl to come in so they didn't cancel...me), but I should have been told in advance I was being put with an entirely different, less experienced nail tech before my appointment. I would have ask to reschedule to get someone else. Definitely won't be back here and if you are making an appt online and they don't know you - make sure you call to confirm you want this specific person because it appears they ignore you preferences when you book online.

I came in here to get my gel mani removed and decided to get a regular Mani. I really like this place! It's kind of obscure because it's at the 3rd floor. I booked with Mui and she gave me a fabulous manicure. She actually picked my color because I was indecisive. I just loved the sheer nude!! The place was also empty on a Tuesday afternoon. It was nice and I will definitely come back here again. Thank you, Mui!! You were so gentle with my hands and nails :)

This salon was so hit or miss. I appreciated the ability to book an appointment online via their website and was excited to see their parking policy said it would be reimbursed the time you were at the salon. I saw a simple design I wanted to replicate so brought in a screenshot. I tried to make it easy on the nail artist by just picking one color instead. I confirmed ahead of time that she was able to replicate the look and she confirmed she could. Fast forward to halfway through the service when the technician told me that it's challenging to do designs on regular manicures vs gel, something I wished she had said at the start. I would have just stuck with the single color if that was the case. But instead I got a poor quality work, one I didn't have time to change because my time was limited. Not only was the design work poor but you could see the layers of the base coat because they weren't evenly distributed when getting painted. When I went to checkout, I pulled out my parking ticket to get it validated per the Special Instructions on their booking website. But the nail technician said they didn't validate parking. I imagine they don't get a lot of repeat local customers being in a more touristy area so maybe they think they can put our poor quality work and continue on but as a local, I won't be coming back.

I rarely leave comments but wanted to give a shout out to this place - what a lil gem in DTLV! Esme did my gel mani/pedi, she was the sweetest and did one of the best gel mani/pedis i have ever gotten! I live in Los Angeles and am sad I don't live in the area or else I'd be there every other week! Posting a pic of how good my nails look 20 days later also shout out to Esme for helping me pick the color, love it! The other staff members were so nice and cool as well

I live in CA, but have been to Vegas twice, recently. Mui did my nails in May 2022 for my wedding, and to say I was impressed is an understatement. My gel nails (which are SO reasonably priced) lasted 19 days. In June of 2023, I was visiting for a week-long training and decided to treat myself to another gel manicure. Mui did my gel nails 21 days ago, and there is not a single chip, peel, or blemish. I will be so sad when it is time for a polish change, because I know I'm going to pay more for way less quality. Mui is the very best in the business. I don't know what her secret is, but I will be back EVERY single time I'm in Vegas!

I've lived downtown for 3 years and somehow had never been here which is such a shame because I had a great experience! Ariana is so sweet and did such a great job!!

I had great experience with Cheyenne who did my pedicure. Jackie and Cheyenne took care of my fiancee and were also amazing as far as her mani and pedi go. I was trying to find a salon that did gel-x since I usually get them done at my salon back home because I like this type of nail better for my hands. I was a little put off because Mui the person that was doing my nails kept shaking her head because she had to take off my current gel-x nails I had on. She was mumbling under her breath as to how much she doesn't like gel-x nails. She was having a hard time taking it off, which honestly at my other salon would just soak it off. I wasn't sure if she was having a bad day, or my 'gel-x' nails just annoyed her, and me wanting to put on more gel-x nails irritated her even more. I only had my nails done in vegas because my best friend was eloping and it was very last minute and my fiancee and I didn't have time before we left San Diego. So that night after the appointment one of my nails popped off. I have never had this experience before getting gel-x. There were no appointments available early morning before my best friends wedding so I set up an appointment for after the wedding. My fiancee called to confirm the appt and they told her "that's why we don't like doing gel-x nails because that's what happens." I didn't go back to fix it, it just felt like it was such an inconvenience for her, and I was going to drive 15 min from our hotel to downtown just to get it fixed. I guess I will just have one nail missing, after paying for all the extras I got done for myself and literally having a full set for like 5 hours. I would probably go back for Jackie or Cheyenne if my fiancee and I are ever back in town but would rather not give business to Mui who obviously doesn't care what the customer thinks, because she makes it seem as if she knows better.

Ariana and Jackie did amazing jobs on me and my friend's nails. They were very friendly and really nice, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. I am most definitely going back because i was very impressed and satisfied with their work.

Beautiful experience and such a sweet gift from my husband... up until the end…read more We're locals, so it was nice to have a little staycation. My husband surprised me with an appointment here, and once we arrived, I thought maybe I'd treat myself to getting my nails done too. My husband had already booked a package for both of us. I will say they definitely try to upsell bigger packages, even when you already have services booked, and there were added charges that weren't clearly explained unless you asked. My husband originally wanted a basic pedicure, but they convinced him to upgrade to match mine. Fine -- we decided to just enjoy and treat ourselves. My technician told me that gel polish was included with my pedicure, so I agreed to do it. Later, when we received the bill, there was an additional charge for the gel. My husband mentioned that I had been told it was included, but they said it was still extra. Okay, fine. I then asked the same technician if she had time to do my nails. She explained she already had another appointment and would place me with someone else, which I completely understood since it was a last-minute request. I told them I wanted something simple, nothing extravagant. I was quoted a price that seemed different from what was listed on their website, so I politely asked why. She seemed bothered by the question and explained it was because I wanted a certain shape. I said, "Oh okay, I understand." I then asked the difference between two services because they sounded very similar on the menu. She explained it, but then added, "That one is more expensive." Maybe it wasn't intended that way, but the comment felt unnecessary after my husband and I had already spent a good amount on services. I understand this is a high-end salon, and maybe these kinds of charges or questions are normal for their regular clientele, but personally it came across a bit judgmental and uncomfortable. At that point, I simply asked if they could remove what had already been started (just one nail on one finger), because I no longer wanted my nails done. I felt uncomfortable and didn't want to sit through the appointment feeling like I had to prove I could afford to be there. I actually left crying because of how judged the interaction made me feel. Maybe I'm just a tired-looking mom trying to treat herself, but being made to feel judged for asking simple questions really changed the experience for me.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing from beginning to end…read more I booked a Gel-X set and a pedicure. The Gel-X design I requested was extremely simple, yet the appointment took 2.5 hours to complete. I completely understand that every nail technician has their own pace, but when an appointment runs that far behind, there should be some consideration for the customer's time. Rather than become frustrated with the technician, I politely told the staff that I would return another day for my pedicure. To my surprise, I was charged a $20 cancellation fee because I was no longer receiving the service -- despite the fact that the only reason I had to leave was because their own appointment took significantly longer than expected. I paid the fee without arguing because I did not want to make the staff uncomfortable or cause a scene. Unfortunately, the most frustrating part is that after 2.5 hours, the quality of my nails did not reflect the time or money spent. I asked for a simple square shape and left with uneven, U-shaped nails with excess gel built up underneath them. For the amount this salon charges, the quality was nowhere near what should be expected. I called afterward hoping to speak to management and give them the opportunity to make things right. While I was placed on "hold", I could clearly hear the supervisor speaking negatively about me and dismissing my concerns by saying I was "just mad" about the cancellation fee and didnt want to pay it. This was incredibly unprofessional, especially considering I was calling because I was unhappy with the overall quality of my $130 service. I was told the owner would be contacted and would reach out to me personally. It has now been two days with no phone call, email, or any acknowledgment of the situation. High prices can be justified by exceptional work and exceptional customer service. Unfortunately, this salon provided neither. Paying premium prices for poor-quality nails, being charged a fee due to the salon's own delay, hearing management speak negatively about a customer, and then receiving no follow-up is unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I would encourage anyone considering this salon to understand that the experience may not match the price tag.

Before we even left the salon, half of my daughter's toenail polish was already chipped or completely off. That should not be happening immediately after getting them painted. The clear polish is also all over my cuticles, which makes the manicure look messy and rushed. I also got gems put on four of my nails and one of them has already fallen off after just one day. While this was happening, my daughter needed to use the bathroom and I was trying to get the technician's attention, but she completely ignored me. This was, without exaggeration, the worst nail salon experience of my life…read more I booked an appointment through their system, yet upon arrival nobody even bothered to check my reservation or ask for my name. Instead, they immediately tried to upsell me on extremely expensive services. The most shocking part is that these prices are being charged by people who seem to lack even basic knowledge and skills in their profession. First of all, hygiene standards were practically nonexistent. The older woman who worked on my nails wore no gloves, used a UV lamp as a hand rest, and there was no dust extraction system running, meaning I spent the entire appointment breathing nail dust. Even worse, the tools used on me were simply wiped off and put back without any visible disinfection. Completely unacceptable. The woman removed my previous set so aggressively that she removed skin along with the product. Instead of properly preparing my cuticles, she used an e-file in such a careless manner that she cut almost every single finger, leaving me with multiple open wounds. I requested square nails, yet every nail ended up crooked and uneven. When I asked for a correction, I was told it was "too late." Too late for what exactly remains a mystery. Then came the most painful part. She applied some product from an unlabeled bottle, calling it a "base," and spread it directly onto the open cuts she had just created. The burning sensation was unbearable. After that, she proceeded to pour gel over both my nails and the wounds. Throughout the entire appointment, instead of acknowledging her mistakes, she repeatedly insisted that I was "allergic" in an apparent attempt to excuse the pain and burning she had caused. I am not allergic--this has been medically confirmed, and I have been getting my nails done regularly for over 10 years without ever experiencing anything remotely similar. Open wounds covered with chemicals are not an allergic reaction; they are the result of poor technique and negligence. I was in so much pain that I asked her to remove everything immediately because I simply wanted to leave. I walked out with bleeding fingers, damaged nails, and paid $25 for this experience. Had I not been desperate to leave because of the pain, I would not have paid even $1. The final appearance of my nails was honestly heartbreaking. I would never allow a client to leave in such a condition. Absolutely unacceptable service, terrible hygiene standards, lack of professionalism, and complete disregard for client safety. Looking at my fingers now, I finally understand why so many people avoid this part of town. I would strongly advise anyone to stay away from this salon. I am attaching photos from the apocalypse I experienced. Rest assured that this will be published everywhere.
