We were totally ripped off in this money grabbing cash only place but I needed my finger and tie nails tidied up. These nail bars are opening all over the place now and no doubt will grab as much cash as possible evade tax, pocket the lot and disappear. Four of them opened in our town in the same week. It is quite an organised set up clearly funded by big money that makes big money quickly keeping ahead of the taxman. They've found a niche where they face little competition. The staff appear to speak little to know English but I'm sceptical as they are mostly in their 20's. I'd say they couldn't be bothered. I noted when staff became free they went immediately on to their mobile phones and with a dozen working diligently the place was spookily quiet. Love my nails every time I go here. Always amazing - I always get difficult complicated designs on my nails and they are always so good at giving me the nails I want! Such lovely staff and a really nice shop, sometimes you are even offered a drink (tea, coffee, water, diet coke) while you get your nails done. Compared to other nail places in Newbury, this one is the cheapest while delivering the exact same quality. I used to go to Reading to get my nails done as they were cheaper but the quality difference is huge! The Nail Bar is affordable while being such high quality. By far the best nail place i've ever been to (and i've been to a lot), cannot recommend enough!! read more
