When I did visit a couple of years agao I did find the staff most cold and not very kind to my hands and feet as I had the full works. I left the shop partially satisfied which isn't good considering I spent £50 there. Would go to The Beauty Society, Amersham Hill for professional service instead.

i've been here quite a few times and had different people each time. i think the bloke is the best…read more one experience i had there was one of the girls was filing my nails and she cut herself and bled all over my hands and left me sat there while she looked for a plaster. the cut wasn't major but the fact she left blood on me made me feel ill!! the nails there have been thick and come away from my own nail and personally don't think they are very nice. just cheap! you pay for what you get.

I can't express how disappointed I've been by Marlow Nail and Beauty. Not in the treatment itself,…read morebut in the attitude and management style of the owner cum manageress, and the customer service. I signed up for a course of treatments, at which point she was oh so happy to take my money. The iLipo was advertised as hour long sessions, after which you could use the salon's 'gym equipment' to enhance the treatment. In reality, the cross trainer was broken for my 1st 3 sessions and so I couldn't use it. In a later session someone who had just finished her treatment was on the cross trainer when I walked in, and the therapist asked me to get undressed and lie on the bed. I explained that I felt uncomfortable doing so in company and so the other lady was asked to leave until I was on the bed covered with a towel; awkward for both if us. At this point I emailed the salon asking if it was possible to get my money back if I cancelled my remaining sessions. I was sent a very brusque note saying 'no'. Rather than waste money I therefore resigned myself to finishing the course. The next day after work I drove to the salon (20 miles from where I work). Stuck in traffic I rang and gave my name to the salon manager who said not to worry, just get there ASAP. When I arrived (only 5 mins late) I gave my name to the same woman only to be told "but you cancelled your appointment. The staff have gone home." I was FUMING. She didn't even offer an apology unt I was walking out of the door, let alone offer to re-imburse my petrol or parking costs. Very reluctantly I re-booked the final 2 appointments. The final straw then came when I got stuck working late and called the salon to say I couldn't make my last appointment. It went to voicemail so I explained and asked them to contact me with a new time. I then received an email telling me that it was too late notice and they wouldn't re-book!! Despite the fact they had cancelled on me with NO notice previously. I am so angry and upset - what a waste of time and money. Please please please don't be fooled like I was - DO NOT USE THIS SALON.
