I have been to USA nails on a few occasions, each time because it was quicker, cheaper and closer to use this oriental run nail shop than an English run nail shop in Newbury which I previously used. Every time I have been there they do not understand what I'm saying and every time I go in there they have physically hurt me using their electric nail files. I have had acrylics and gel nails put on there in the past and each time they go to in-fill them or take them off it hurts. They buffer your nails down with their electric nail files and they use this so much that they clearly do not realise that they're going beyond the acrylic to your actual nail because it burns. When I say ow, that hurts they simply laugh it off and do not care about the fact that they're hurting you. It seems to be an annoyance to them that you're in pain because although you cannot understand them, it is obvious that they b*tch to the other staff members about you complaining. They use a pointy electric nail file underneath your nails, I do not know what purpose this serves, all they do is get extremely close to your skin and most of the time it touches your skin and makes it bleed. Even when they use their hand held non-electric nail files, they are so rough with you. Filing on your skin and not on your nail. I have come out of this shop on several occasions with my fingers and nails hurting and continuing to hurt for the next 2/3 days. Whenever I used to go back I used to shake with fear about how they might hurt me and was always reluctant to give them my hands to work on. Now though, luckily, I have found a nail shop on the same road as USA nails, but it's at the bottom of the hill not at the top, this shop, although run by oriental staff, they all speak fluent and good English. They listen to you and are always very careful with their electric nail files and when taking off acrylics or gel nails. When I went into this new nail shop, 2 other people in there were also complaining about USA Nails sharing that they have also had the same experience as I have had on many occasions. read more
