Facing hairloss due to chemotherapy is bad enough But wig shopping was even worse! Having been to trend Co and selfridges I was so disappointed at the service, collections and quality of the wigs. I found image group London online so drove 40 mins to see what they could offer. Thank goodness I found them! Services is excellent and they stock a huge amount of wigs,different brands, different styles and prices. The wig studio is a nicely decorated 'dressing room' and was very private and comfortable Unlike other places which were open salons, or in shop windows Not appealing when you have a bald head! I was also advised that wigs couldn't be cut, Lynne however can cut your wig to any style you like, I have even been back for a wig cut since purchasing! The service and care is excellent , you are made to feel very relaxed and Lynne is very understanding of the whole chemo process and side effects/trauma. After my first wig fitting, Lynne explained about when the hairloss starts and advised me to come back to have my head head shaved and final fitting, which I did. I was so relieved to have this contact as it was a traumatic situation but Lynne made everything seem completely normal and fitted my wig nicely. After my 2nd treatment I went back for a wig cut and after my 3rd treatment went and had a fringe cut in. I highly recommend this company for wigs, any age or style. I am so pleased that I think that when my own hair finally grows back that I will use Lynne to cut my own hair.. By the way the salon has been undergoing renovations and its looking superb. I cannot rate this salon high enough! Lynne has superb 'people' skills, she listens to what you want but also gives excellent advice as to what she thinks may also look good and be adaptable for the clients lifestyle. She takes great care in her foiling and is superb at cutting, the precision is second to none. Lynnes professionalism really shows through, she takes her time which then gives great results. This is a terrific salon and is certainly real value for money and I will not be going anywhere else! Lovely fresh coffee too, with Claire and Kirsty who are also helpful, friendly and professional.
