What should have been at most a 5 hour move took them literally 2 days and left my furniture on a carport overnight in the RAIN! They are not professional movers they will hire anyone. We also had several things stolen. Ask your driver he will be more than happy to tell you. You wont be saving money they intentionally take all day then tell you they cant do it the next so you will do anything to have it finished. They will tell you their truck is free but charge for gas. Which is fine but they should tell you everything upfront. The pictures you see are NOT what your getting. They went through boxes asking to buy things. They smelled like alcohol and cigarettes.

The house that we moved from needed to be staged and attractive to potential buyers. The apartment we were moving into was only one third the size of the house. We needed to sort through all our belongings to see what items should come with us to Miami and what items needed to be thrown out or taken to Goodwill. On top of everything else, I am a painter who owes 62 painted canvases that would have to be moved. Many of which were 4' by 6' in size and like most artist, my work is precious to me. Fortunately my wife and I knew Felicia. We knew she had many years of moving experience and we knew that she prides herself on helping people make a smooth and easy transition from one living situation to another. Additionally, Felicia has much experience setting up homes and a wonderful eye for color and laying out interior spaces. As we hoped, Felicia did a lovely job staging our Asheville home. On her recommendation, we painted the interior, bought new lampshades and some inexpensive accessories. We were thrilled with how the house looked and quite sad that we were going to have to move. Felicia boxed all our belongings and was very attentive to packing the truck to best facilitate an organized and quick unpacking in Miami. I could not have found anyone else who would have so lovingly packed my artwork. All 62 pieces were wrapped in thick moving paper and placed in a hand cut box precisely fitting the canvas. In addition to all of this, Felicia worked diligently at our Miami apartment to make sure that my disabled wife had all her needs addressed from day 1. I have no question that we could not have found anyone who would put so much effort and care in helping us to successfully make what was a very difficult transition. I can recommend Felicia without reservation. I believe her to be a genuinely caring person that will do everything possible to make your move simple and carefree. We're living in a new world where it's wonderful to see women starting and running their own businesses and we feel it is important to support these businesses. Felicia is a strong and determined woman, exactly the type of woman who can create and succeed in building a business in this totally male dominated moving industry. I could write an actual novel on how horrible this experience was. I'll try to limit myself to the…read morelowlights: -One of the guys quit mid-job after calling me a "motherf***er" and an "@$$hole" in the middle of the street. I later learned he was a "loaner" who didn't even work for the company, and that he did poor work all day. -They were hired to help PACK the house, which I was fine paying for. The workers brought NO packing materials and instead just tossed stuff haphazardly into whatever container they could find. When they ran out of the boxes we had provided, instead of asking me to go get more (I was working in my vehicle the entire day), they simply threw things into the back of their truck loose. Two days later we're still finding shattered pieces of our property due to, for example, reams of printer paper being thrown on top of china. -Speaking of dishes, they didn't even pack everything. There were a few items I asked them to leave once I realized they were being idiots with our stuff, but we also discovered they didn't even open the kitchen cabinets, so we have to go back and move most of the kitchen ourselves. If the house closing had not already been moved, we'd have to move it just to finish the job we paid for. -After the truck left the old house I found the ground littered with cigarette butts. It turned out they had been smoking all day right next to the OPEN DOOR of the house. All our stuff reeks of cigarette smoke. Whatever does not err out is now ruined. All told it took them two days to move a three-bedroom home and it's not even moved. We've lost many of my wife's nice things to straight-up malicious incompetence. The owner did take responsibility and accepted a reduced bill, but the more we try to undo the mess, the worse even that settled bill looks. Stay far, far away.
