I was quoted $160.00 plus the charge of the amount that it cost to wash my laundry. Tammy had requested to use the laundry matt. When she came she had 2 others with her. I was.on the couch sleeping 95% of the time as I had received a treatment the day before. I had explained to Tammy my circumstances and she explained she had experience with that. She did mention how small my home was, that was the extent of it. I continued to sleep, waking on and off. Tammy came back from the laundry matt and proceeded to fold close telling the girls to come and help her as she wanted to go home, I assume. When she finished she came to me and I asked how much do I owe.you? She explained it was $2260. I could have passed out. I explained to her to take $180,00 out of my debt card and I had to go to the car to get the remaining money. I then walked out and got the funds and gave them to her. Later that night I received a receipt for the debt card, a receipt for the cash, and a NOTIFICATION that she had SAVED my card to her device. I felt taken advantage of. If, at any time, she felt she was going to have to change the amount of services needed to be increased, I'm sorry but I would have told her to stop, as she had taken all the money I had left for the month. Also under no circumstances would I have given her permission to save my card. They did work a total of 4 hours, coming at approximately 3:20 and finishing at 7:15. They were extremely nice and did a great job. Despite that, I should have been made aware of the changing cost of services. I didn't have that much and now I have nothing, except for $30.00 to last till the 3rd of August. read more
