While at the Oceanfront, my friends and I decided to stop into Stoneage Natural Rocks & Crystals…read more The store had a large assortment of natural rocks and crystals, along with jewelry pieces like rings, earrings, bracelets, and necklaces. I was especially intrigued by the zodiac stones. I had no idea certain stones were connected to each zodiac sign, and it was really fun to learn. Outside of the crystals and jewelry, they also carry dream catchers, trinkets, lamps, and even some teas, which made browsing the shop even more enjoyable. One of my friends is really big into crystals, so this was the perfect stop for her, and I found myself fascinated too. Some items were affordable while others were a bit costly. If you're into crystals, natural rocks and items of that nature, definitely check them out next time you're at the Oceanfront!

The store was clean and very organized. There was a good selection of necklaces that had pretty stones, and rings as well. The prices were pretty reasonable. Some crystals were 3 for $5. Most crystals were pretty but some did feel manmade. I liked the store and would return when I'm in the area. Check them out!!

I've started going to Either Ore when they were at the Kempsville location. I had a lot of custom…read morework done with them and have always been thrilled with the results. I've had the gold setting for my diamond earrings changed out to white gold with screw back posts. That turned out perfect. I also had an old family diamond ring made into a diamond pendant - I always get complements when I wear it. The most creative custom work I had done was a diamond belly button ring. I provided a pear shaped diamond and a round diamond from some jewelry I already had. The jeweler drew out a sketch and I brought him samples of how the rings were made from Claire's. He had never made one before. I guess it's not a common request, lol. He finished it in about a week and it turned out just as I envisioned. Their prices for all of this work was very reasonable. Either Ore is a trustworthy jeweler that I recommend for custom work or appraisals. They also have a lot of inventory for sale in the store. I love to just browse the display cases when I'm in there.

( At least she makes us feel that fancy! ) She was attentive, kind, personable and a great listener. We came in looking for several different pieces including diamond solitaire earrings and gold necklaces and they were able to provide everything we needed at an exceptional value! We were very impressed by their pricing compared to Kay's. ( Even though we later learned they are sister companies! ) It really was a one stop shop for us. I even came back to exchange a pair of studs for a larger size and it was an easy breezy transaction. No questions asked! This location will be our first stop for all jewelry needs in the future. Customer service is so important to us and every time we stepped foot in that door we were greeted with warmth and everyone was attentive. We truly felt like our business mattered and that goes such a long way. Thank you Zales for making our shopping experiences so wonderful!

I trusted this jeweler with some of the most meaningful pieces in my life including my engagement ring which he provided the appraisal and certificate. Earlier this year, my engagement ring was cleaned and repaired in the store -- the only time it ever left my hand. Months later, the diamond looked dull and cloudy, so I returned to ask about upgrading. The owner offered me a shockingly low trade‑in value, which made me seek a second opinion. A jeweler in New York removed and inspected the stone in front of us. What we learned was devastating: the diamond in my ring was not the original one we purchased. The measurements didn't match, the laser inscription was gone, and the stone was cracked. The financial loss hurts, but the emotional betrayal is far worse. After decades of loyalty, admiration, and trust, discovering this was heartbreaking. I'm sharing my experience so others can protect themselves. Trust should never be taken for granted -- and once broken, it cannot be repaired.
