They were so fluffy and soft right out of the fryer. We ate them all right there. Elsie's creamery is a part of the store and we got the seasonal pumpkin ice cream. Not a big fan of ice creams in general but I can get behind this one. Tasted fresh and light. And definitely get it in a waffle cone. We got a kiddie scoop and even that was plenty between two of us. I think it was the last day of fall so there were some games out back like duck racing, steer roping, corn hole etc that were fun to play as you finished your ice cream. Overall a fun visit to the farm.

Whatever they do here, they seem to have it down pat. Our service was fast, friendly and polite. Our food was phenomenal. For someone who had never ordered steamers, I did here! I was not disappointed. No where have I had cleaner clams. Perfectly dunked into the butter draw. So fresh! Tried the aloha burger and the bacon cheeseburger. Both were cooked near perfection. Must note that the veggies on the burgers- lettuce, tomato and red onion were unbelievably fresh and crisp tasting. The grilled pineapple on my burger, i was unsure if it would be soggy, let me assure you that mine was not. It was just perfect all the way. Thank you all who work and run this Tavern!
