We didn't really have an idea of what background we wanted...I just wanted to be able to hide my swollen ankles haha. Rebecca took us to a beautiful open field in Tehachapi with tall grass. She shot our kids first, which is smart because they can get pretty impatient. She did great with them! She made silly noises and faces to make them laugh and they loved her. When it was time to shoot my husband and I she had so many romantic photo poses and made us feel so comfortable. When it was time to shoot my individual maternity shots she made me feel beautiful and skinny. She kept saying how great I looked and I needed that confidence boost at 9 months pregnant!! She wanted to shoot the last photos when the sun was setting and the photos turned out BEAUTIFUL. The best part...she got so many beautiful shots in about 45 minutes. When you meet Rebecca she instantly feels like a friend you have had forever! She makes the time you spend with her fun and she has a great eye for photos. Golden Captures answered and was able to book me on my next day I had off of work. He took the time to get to know exactly what we wanted and shot pictures in a multitude of lightings and backgrounds. He also showed me some of the pictures during the shoot to ensure I was happy with the picture prior to editing. All of this attention to detail was evident in the pictures he had taken. 0 Stars Absolutely the worst experience I've had with a…read morephotographer. My appointment was on August 11, and I was told I'd get my photos in about a week. Instead, it took over a month. I didn't receive the final pictures until September 15. I reached out several times asking for updates and was completely ignored. The lack of communication and professionalism was unacceptable. I would never recommend her to anyone do yourself a favor save yourself the stress and go somewhere else.

She wrote the day down that I needed them by and told me to text her a day before to remind her. When I texted her I heard nothing back from her. She ignored me for several days then responded saying her "computer broke" and she was waiting for a new one. Her computer breaking had nothing to do with her phone and texting me back. If her computer really broke I feel like she would have said that when I initially texted her. Anywho, she then texted me stating I could pick out 3 backdrops to add to my photos free of charge because she didn't get my photos back to me on time. I sent her the backdrops I wanted with the pictures I wanted them on and still have not heard from her. This was over two moths ago! She is kind of unprofessional in my opinion for the price she charges. If you want someone honest with good quality and communication, I would recommend going elsewhere. My photos were just okay, I've had better, but wanted to give someone new a chance. She was also late to the studio for the session. I don't recommend this photographer.

The one piece of advice we got over and over again while prepping to plan our wedding was to hire a great photographer so that we could look back at the photos and remember that all the stress and hard work and time and money that went into the wedding, made a dream come true.
