This is an update to a previous post earlier in January 2026, when my interactions with their customer representative over the phone left me with the impression that I would pay again for them or just have to find someplace else to get my portraits redone. Shortly after my post, I was contacted by the owner who was willing to print the portraits again. I received the new portraits today, they look great, and I hope they will stand the test of time. This never got published for some reason bht the review is for December of 2023. The shoot was fine and everyone was very nice but what urked me was the photographer kissing my baby's head. It's RSV season and my baby is barely a month old and he's kissing her on the head. I don't mind that he has to get close to her to take photos but do not kiss her. I didn't notice until the end that he was kissing her so I didn't say anything but I pray she doesn't get sick. She could die if she gets sick. read more

We booked our sons senior photo for the year book because this is where the school said to go and there was a fee of course. After my son took his photos they make a review appt, none of their dates lined up with mine til a month out. It was chaos trying to book a date because the employee said she couldn't book that far in advance . Turns out she could because someone else came and told her just to do it. Yesterday, I went to look at the photos, they came out really well. However the packages and package pricing is ridiculous and it doesn't even matter if you go with the cheapest one. I ended up going with a higher one since that was the "better deal" and had 4 poses and the digital but, honestly I regret just not choosing a senior photo and leaving. I recommend going else where for your pics. The total was $864 and no they didn't waive the original sitting fee since I bought a package and no that doesn't even come with a frame or very man pictures. Disappointed that the high school is endorsing some one so far and so expensive. They should really be looking for somewhere more affordable. read more

They have the best photography studio in the AV hands down and no way around it. My daughter and I got family portraits done here for my new granddaughter and they came out beautiful!!! They have all sorts of settings to choose from including a lovely garden scene to a old firetruck to a beach & surf scene. The indoor studio is just as nice and I won't be going anywhere else for future photos & portraits. No way. Matt our photographer was so king and patient trying to get my granddaughter to smile. It took a minute but with the help of a teddy bear she eventually cracked the most gorgeous smile which he captured at the right moment. Went to get family portraits taken and it was a great experience. Everyone from the first person I spoke to on the phone to the associate picking up my photos at the end of the process was courteous and knowledgeable. I was very nervous at first but once in the studio everyone made it fun and overall just a pleasant experience all around. I would definitely recommend William Edwards to others. read more

You do not have to use William Edwards!!!! Over the past 2 months, I have received 3 phone calls from William Edwards photography. The phone calls always go like this... "Hi, this is ____ from William Edwards photography. I am calling because ******* hasn't set up her appointment for senior photos yet." "We already have a photographer, thank you." "So *********** isn't going to be in the yearbook? William Edwards is the only photographer in ***********'s yearbook." I have emailed the yearbook adviser at the high school to let her know. Her reply was that we are free to use any photographer of our choosing for the yearbook and that it was illegal for the company to state otherwise. This type of phone call is a strong-arm tactic to make families feel they have to use William Edwards photography. It is illegal. I submitted a complaint to Consumer Affairs. read more

I recently just went in to do senior portraits as I was not able to do them when I graduated due to Covid I finally decided to do them due to my grandma be with me at the time so me her and my mom could get a professional portrait of all 3 generations. Jimmy was incredible he was very attentive and helped with posing not only me and my grandma but my aunts and uncle that came with us. He even got my grandma to smile and enjoy the session. She had a terrible attitude & didn't seem too interested into explaining the prices. This afternoon I received a message on Instagram from an account that is clearly a BOT, marketing for William Edwards. I have lived in the AV all of my life and used William Edwards many many years ago. After spending $800 for Senior Photos, and almost $1k for photos of my newborn baby and I, I decided I would not return for future sessions of any kind. I was never fully pleased with my experiences at William Edwards. For years now, I have used small business photographers out here, who legitimately bust their butt to photograph, edit and execute for their clients. These photographers don't have multiple employees making the show go on, but are working from start to finish on each and every client they work with. Hiring small business photographers gave me the ability to have sessions and prints without spending an insane amount of money and in my opinion, receiving MUCH better quality photos than I ever did at WE. To receive this message on Instagram from a BOT ACCOUNT, and to later find that many friends received the same message from multiple BOT accounts, is disgusting. The voting for AV's Best is currently going on and all this says to me is that William Edwards is PAYING BOTS for likes, views, and more than likely votes. Insane. We took pictures in December. It was easy to book and only paid $ 30 to reserve the time . The experience was great photographers were very fun and friendly. My only complaint was the prices of the picture packages. I really only wanted digital pictures so I can print as I pleased but in order to get digitales I had to buy a packet. Long story short ended up spending $850 on pictures! Just make sure you're aware, if you're willing to pay they are great. I'm not sure I would, too much for me. read more

Such a wonderful photography studio- from our experience with newborn photos in the hospital to family pictures and milestone memories, the team here has been outstanding.
