We have been going to Ruby for photo shoots for over 6 years now, from everything from wedding/anniversary photos, extended family photos and Christmas. I am also a photographer (not a professional one, as a hobby) so when I was searching for someone to do our photos, I looked for someone who had a certain shooting and editing style, as well as skill. What I love about Ruby is that she can not only do beautiful outdoor photo shoots, but amazing studio/indoor photos! Trust me, as a fellow photographer, finding someone who can do both is very difficult! Usually someone specializes in one or the other. I originally chose Ruby for her beautiful portfolio, but kept coming back to her for her professionalism, talent and overall great photoshoot experiences. Most of our shoots involved our children, which (as most parents know) can be a really stressful time. Ruby has always been able to connect with our kids (even the grumpy ones), is super friendly and makes the photo time fun rather than a chore for them. All four of my kids know who "Miss Ruby" is now. Her customer service is on point. Ruby has always been able to match the vision of what kind of photos I'm requesting. There have been a couple times when a photo wasn't edited how I wanted or needed a little tweak and she always accommodated my request with a "no problem". She and her husband also spent a day offroading to find the perfect location for my anniversary photos after I described a vision I had for the shoot! I so appreciate someone who goes above and beyond for her customers like that. I love and cherish all the many photos I've had done by Ruby and the whole Pixels and Prints team! Ruby is an amazing photographer and is great at what she does. She is very comforting and has a lovely personality. I was referred to her from my sister who has taken many family sessions with her and is her go to photographer. She has now been photographing my own growing family since 2021 and we will never stop coming back to Ruby. We have done pregnancy announcements x2 , newborn session x2, family sessions, maternity sessions, Christmas minis, and most recently her sunflower minis. SHE IS AMAZING AND WE ADORE HER. You will not regret taking any type of session with her. Her studio is beautiful, airy, serene, and has gorgeous natural lighting. Ruby is great with children also as she has worked with my girls who are currently 2.5yo and 10m and made them feel so welcome and safe. 10/10 recommend. LOVE LOVE LOVE! I'm extremely unhappy with the lack of professionalism from Ruby. Her website for her business showed her pricing as $3,999 for her lowest package. See the picture below. Once she sent the contract it was almost $5,000 so I questioned where the extra $1,000 charge came from. She states that her pricing went up in January. I was completely unaware of this as her website still said $3,999. I sent her the screenshot where she admitted that her tech person messed up and didn't take down the old pricing. She then proceeded to blame me and say it was a google search and couldn't have been from her website. The screenshot shows otherwise. She has since taken down that page and it says it's unavailable. How convenient. I'm extremely disappointed and am very upset that she didn't honor that original price when she admitted her team messed up. And then she proceeded to blame me and became unprofessional. Please don't take this lightly if you're considering her as your photographer. This isn't okay. read more

Back in 2019, I was recommended Ruby from a very dear friend of mine. I had a couple of options but one look at her website had me falling in love. I've never been one to enjoy my picture being taken by someone else and I was really nervous because I needed a photographer for my wedding and of course I wanted to look as special as ever. Ruby's portfolio gave me such ease in how she could make anyone and everyone look as beautiful as they are on the inside and I was impressed by how she could transform even mundane locations into something magical. Her ability to make you feel so comfortable and beautiful is effortless. Not only is she professional but she really knows how to make you feel genuine happiness that she can capture in a photo you'll love for the rest of your life. Our wedding was cancelled in 2020 due to the lockdown occurring the same day. Those last few weeks were absolutely rough and cancelling it was devastating. We ended up having a small 10 person gathering and not only did Ruby give us a credit for our entire wedding shoot for the future, she came and shot our impromptu backyard wedding for free because she knew what we had been going through. She is truly a professional but also an amazingly kind human being as well. I absolutely cannot recommend her enough and we are looking forward to Ruby doing our newborn photoshoot later this year! Omg! Not only did my pictures some out amazing, Ruby also helped ease my fiancé and I's nerves during the whole shoot. We took engagement pictures with her and from the week leading up to we were so nervous because we can be very camera shy. Where do I even begin..? Ruby is so talented and captures such beautiful photos. we absolutely love her! We met her when she took our engagement pictures back in Dec of 2018 then our wedding in 2019. Where do I even begin with Ruby?! I booked her for my wedding (which was later changed due my fiancé and I wanting to elope instead). I contacted her and not only did she change her plans to accommodate us for our elopement but helped me find the rest of my vendors for that day. She took amazing photos of us (both camera shy) that I can not stop looking at AND during our session she put on our song and insisted we do our first dance since we didn't have a reception planned.
