Due to time of year and family factors, such as two toddlers and a teen special needs grandson, we decided to take the photos at home. First, I was impressed that Gary made an appointment to come to our home to determine a suitable location. But not only that, he sat down with me and took down everyone's name and how they were related. On the day of the shoot, Gary greeted everyone by name -- two adult children, their spouses and eight grandkids. I was impressed. Then the fun began. The two toddlers decided to have a joint meltdown. We took the large family portrait, then smaller groups. When Gary left I thought we'd be lucky to see one or two "reasonable" photos to choose from where everyone looked good. Was I wrong! In spite of squirming, squealing girls, and the teen special-needs grandson who is challenging to get to look at the camera, we ended up with excellent results from which to choose. I was so pleased! He spent a good 30 minutes on the phone with me just discussing our event. He was very polite & personable. He did not require that we meet in person or sign a contract the way many others did and he was up front with his session fee. So, after scheduling he stayed in touch the weeks prior to our reunion. He asked the names of everyone & ages of all the kids. On the big day he & his assistant took wonderful group & family photos of everyone. He knew people's names & made everyone feel comfortable & at ease. He was very patient with all twelve of the little kids through all the tantrums & melt downs, lol. He was also very accommodating when five additional members of the family showed up and he fit them into the group. Afterwards he stayed in contact via text, phone calls & email. He was available for questions as well as keeping everyone informed of prices & ordering deadlines. After we placed our order he emailed us the digitals and mailed a disc as well as prints. He even hand delivered a canvas we ordered as a gift for my mother-in-law. He made sure everyone was happy with their photos & offered to do reprints if anyone was dissatisfied. I was having difficulty coming up with what I wanted to wear and where to get my hair and make up done. As I looked for inspo on Pinterest, I found myself discouraged as I purchased and tried different outfits on. All in all, when I told Danielle, she reminded me that my husband loves me for me - to choose outfits that make me feel comfortable and sexy. She was also able to point me in the direction of a H&MU place, which I ended up using for my wedding too! Danielle helped me choose a studio that fit the vibe I was looking for and was able to book it for the day of our shoot. The day of the shoot, I was pretty nervous and Danielle was professional and encouraging the entire session. She was excited to shoot the different themes I did as well! (Bridal, Cowboy Hat, and Dodgers) We drank Prosecco to ease my nervous, which helped quite a bit. We had so much fun we ended up staying an extra 1/2 hour to capture more! Brynn explained boudoir to me and showed me samples of what I could expect in the final product as well as the process and timeline. Since I needed the album soon after the shoot, Brynn sent my photos to me the same evening to pick my faves and the album was delivered much more quickly than I anticipated. I wojld recommend this experience to anyone, honestly. You don't have to do it as a gift, you can even do it for yourself. Brynn has a great eye and will make you feel and look your absolute best.
