I spoke to them on the phone and was confident they could repair it for me so I drove the hour journey and they quickly repaired it saving me a fortune over a replacement. I rang up their customer service support team to confirm i wanted to change tarrifs,they told me they could change it in a instant and i would get the correct charge for each text sent.This was not the case though as i got charged 10 p per text,so i rang up again and was told the same thing that my tarriff had changed which it had not,I once again was told before i put the phone down it had changed. This happened again the charges were wrong.I rang up for a third time then the matter was solved really.I was quite unhappy with the customer service i got from here.I thought their customer service support team was quite poor.

This isn't the only thing they're handy for as they also have a pay point for bill payment, mobile phone top ups, bus tickets and TV licenses. Computer Corner also sells a wide range of computer-related accessories such as leads and keyboards and other essentials. It seems like a popular little shop as when I visited there was a bit of a queue. The staff seem friendly and helpful so if, like me, you're a bit clueless computer-wise, the staff should be able to point you in the right direction.

Ended up purchasing a phone that was far from suitable and did not meet my needs at all. Was in a bit of a tizz and was considerably lighter in the pocket to say the least... I went into Briggate CPW store and spent a considerable amount of time having "phone counselling" with Tim, he was very helpful well informed and patient with me and nothing was too much trouble. I left the store far better informed and with an action plan to solve my problems) A couple of days later after getting no further with my issue, there was a further development and I called into the store again. As Tim was not available, I was assisted by Luke. I found Luke to be understanding, helpful and supportive and he was really helpful. As it appears I had been mis-sold a phone by the first CPW store, Luke and his Manager agreed to allow me to return the phone. Really impressed with Briggate store and found Customer service to be at it's finest on both of my visits. Have previously kind of avoided CPW as it always seems so full of happening young cool guys and that's just the staff) Would fully recommend the Team here to all and especially Tim and Luke, well done Guys!

I'll certainly use them again and would encourage anyone to give them a call with any IT issues. After phoning a couple of other IT companies in York and getting disappointing cold responses over the phone I called Lantech and was immediately impressed. They were friendly and clearly explained what the possible problems were and worked around my schedule to come and collect my laptop. I was kept me up to date over the phone as they worked on the problem and allowed me to choose what solution to go for. The excellent communications from Lantech really gave me peace of mind. Before I brought the phone in the battery was operating perfectly, had never had an issue. When my phone was returned it was partially charged by them, and I was informed that there was an issue with my battery and they could repair it for just another £65! I declined as there was no issue with the battery at the time of getting the phone back, or before I left it with them. Lo and behold when I go to charge my phone the battery is dead. It doesn't charge at all. Phones shouldn't be leaving the shop with issues they didn't come in with. Would avoid these guys with a barge pole.
