As an EE customer, I wanted to call their Doncaster branch to discuss issues I was facing with the network. I noticed that throughout Doncaster, especially within Frenchgate (the mall this store is located in), the mobile signal was poor and non-existent at times, despite having a 5G capable iPhone 12 Pro Max, and with Doncaster being a city with 5G capabilities.
I liked the overall feel of the store, in terms of look, layout and size, it was a typical EE store, you'd find in any shopping centre across the country.
The staff seemed friendly and happy to help, they had good knowledge to answer my questions and explained about a signal difficulty which all major networks face in the shopping centre, which I later found out was true (although I could never find a reason behind it!)
I still prefer the online interface and experience in terms of buying a phone or signing up for a contract however, I do feel EE need to make their stores more digital in that regard.
