I have been seeing Dr. Torres now for a few years for pain management for what would finally be determined to be fibromyalgia. I have sever back issues and numbness in my legs and Dr. Torres has been able to control my pain with a combination of medicine and shots into the nerves of my back. Dr. Torres is one of those doctors who listen to your concerns and does not rush thru an appointment. He is very through with me as a patient. I also way love this staff here. They always call to remind me of my appointments and make sure I stay on up of my refills. This location is in a strip mall with several other business around it. I would highly recommend him and his office. He does have several locations so call and see which location he is in.

I am very happy I was referred to him. Getting an appointment was quick and easy. They worked to get me in as quick as possible. I was seen within 2 days of making the appointment. That to me was great considering the pain I was in. They reached out to my previous doctor and had all my records there when I arrived. Loved that! Their whole staff is extremely understanding and very customer serviced orientated. Another plus. They value their patients time. I did not wait long and I was ushered into the doctors office. Dr. Torres went over my questions and concerns and was as patient with me as could be. He was able to give me a shot than and there which helped me a great deal. I have been back a few times now to see him and have decide to make this office my permanent office. This office is located in a strip with other doctor offices off of Osceola Pkwy in Kissimmee but they have an office in downtown Orlando as well.

I went to Dr. Placer to consult on a procedure called Prolotherapy or PRP. They are similar but not the same. Essentially, it's non-surgical and very quick. Within 3 weeks, I was all set with the ability to throw a ball, swing a club and baseball bat. The doctor was GREAT. He was friendly, encouraged questions, never made me feel rushed, and did not insult me by telling me the internet was full of bogus information. He asked me to do my own research, then ask him questions based on what I read. Most doctors I've had are primadonnas who think the patient is an idiot and can't know anything because they did not go to medical school. Carlos Placer is NOT that way. My wife likes him because she thinks he's hot, so I guess has that going for him. The location can be tricky because traffic in that area can be total crap. Other than that, it's all good!! Pain free and able to play ball, non-surgically!

Apparently the yelp Team can't fix the name. Kind of disappointing. I was recommended here by my doctor because of chronic pain in my lower back. The doctor, Jason Song, seems like a pretty knowledgeable guy. I met with him and we talked and he examined me and we have moved forward with treatment. The only glitch I've had was that I explained to him that being diabetic I should not be having steroid shots anymore. He explained that they would do nerve blockers twice, and then an ablation on nerves in my back. I was scheduled for the first treatment and went in and felt pretty good afterwards, but was very confused when my blood sugar spiked through the roof. Two weeks later when I went in for my follow up, I met with the PA and found out that they had actually given me steroids. I was not happy with this, but I have moved forward with treatment as I was assured this would not happen again. I have now had the nerve blockers twice With very good success both times. Now we are just waiting for Clarence from my insurance to get the ablation. They are quite long distance from where I live, but it's who my insurance approved. They're in a shopping center so there is ample parking nearby. It is a good walk to them no matter where you park because of the design of the lot.Everyone working there is friendly and professional, and the place is run quite efficiently. If all goes well, then I will be back every year to help. Keep some of the pain at bay.

From the minute I scooter-ed into the office I felt welcomed. The office is in the converted house right off Orange Ave & Gore St. The office was easy to find. Hours are great. I got an appointment within two days of calling the office. Dr. Smith is a very personal doctor who listened to all on my concerns and took great care in handling them. Very comforting doctor. The staff is extremely polite and caring. I have been here at least 6 times now and have had excellent service each of the times. I have had 3 sets of shots in my spine for the pain syndrome I have. I have also had 3 follow up appointments to make sure everything was o.k. after the shots. I was taken in at my scheduled appointment time each time I have been there. Great place that sticks to their schedule. Every time I was having shots, (even after my first set) everything was explained to me step by step. I guess they thought I would forget. I was in and out with 35 minutes. I of course have a long way to go with my problem but feel well taken care of by Dr. Smith and his wonderful caring staff.
