I went to Dr. Placer to consult on a procedure called Prolotherapy or PRP. They are similar but not the same. Essentially, it's non-surgical and very quick. Within 3 weeks, I was all set with the ability to throw a ball, swing a club and baseball bat. The doctor was GREAT. He was friendly, encouraged questions, never made me feel rushed, and did not insult me by telling me the internet was full of bogus information. He asked me to do my own research, then ask him questions based on what I read. Most doctors I've had are primadonnas who think the patient is an idiot and can't know anything because they did not go to medical school. Carlos Placer is NOT that way. I have been seeing Dr. Torres now for a few years for pain management for what would finally be determined to be fibromyalgia. I have sever back issues and numbness in my legs and Dr. Torres has been able to control my pain with a combination of medicine and shots into the nerves of my back. Dr. Torres is one of those doctors who listen to your concerns and does not rush thru an appointment. He is very through with me as a patient. I also way love this staff here. They always call to remind me of my appointments and make sure I stay on up of my refills. This location is in a strip mall with several other business around it.
