The first time I ate from the pantry, my coworkers had suggested it to order in on a Friday. I had…read morethe turkey panini, and I was hooked! The sandwich had turkey, cheese, bacon ( I picked off), greens, and a delicious aioli sauce. I suggested that my husband and I go in and try it a couple months later. It is located in the same plaza as Avenue N in Rumford. The storefront is made up of a glass "garage door" so it is pretty cool and unique inside. Service was prompt and friendly. Hubby tried the Cuban, he loved it, and I, creature of habit, stuck to my turkey panini. Once we ordered, the sandwiches came up faster than I expected. I had to use the bathroom and had to go next door to Avenue N. The owner or manager held the door for me, and was very friendly. Everyone that we have met there is friendly. If you want a good sandwich you won't be disappointed!

I wish I loved the pantry as much as 4 years ago me loved it. I went today and got their special…read moresandwich, bbq. Just a sandwich in regular size bread pressed as a panini, and it was $12!!! I had no idea until I had to sign for it! The special board didn't have a price and all the other sandwiches were around $8 so I thought it would be the same. Even worse, one bite in and I was disgusted. The chicken was not cooked well and had that rubbery texture where you have to really pull with your teeth to break it. I threw it away after 2 bites and I'm gagging thinking of it. This could be a one off, but I'm really bummed about wasting $12 on my one spend day of the week! I have some other little gripes that honestly bring down my old rating too. We bought some stuff from the shop, which is still really cute and offers a lot of local (though very upcharged) stuff. And when we checked out, there's a line for tip! Everyone feels weird leaving a tip line blank, so why is it there! Just to make us feel awkward?!? All they offer to drink is hot coffee or cold brew, everything else is a deli or store or serve yourself food so why even tipping! Just made me and my friend awkward leaving that line blank, made us feel rude but why would we tip for only buying grocery items.

However, my husband is a huge nerd and anime happens to be one of his afflictions and there was a mural on the side of a wall that he wanted to take a picture at. After the photo, we noticed some fun Japanese items in the windows of the store by the mural, so we decided to just come on in and take a look. Wow! This shop was fantastic!!! I fell in love with Japanese stuff when I was a child and this place is a wonderland of food and items. I was actually kind of jealous because I haven't even been able to find some of the fun stuff that I wanted to try from social media in Las Vegas (and we have a lot of Japanese stores in Las Vegas). The shelves are lined quite nicely and the person working was pretty nice. Overall, I'd come in quite a bit if I lived in this neighborhood.

They responded to my Instagram messages when they were restocking, which was an awesome start. When I arrived, I was pleased to find such a sweet shop with some any wonderful things. I ended up getting some recommendations from them on what to buy for an afternoon snack, and then I posted up on the couch with my cheese and crackers while I enjoyed them. There are all sorts of cheeses and accoutrements, along with gift options, speciality groceries, etc. If you find yourself in the area, it's a great choice!!

The staff is always friendly & helpful. I've attended fun events there, such as their annual anniversary celebration & cheese bingo. Lovely place when you feel like treating yourself.

The ambiance was really nice, with jazz playing softly in the background, although the indoor dining area is somewhat limited. I ordered the Pink Margarita, which was excellent--and surprisingly strong. For dinner, I tried their special: fettuccine in a Bolognese sauce with meatballs and ricotta. Everything tasted fresh and delicious, and you could really tell the pasta was freshly made. Overall, I had a great dinner and would definitely come back.

Small lot parking and even smaller restaurant, there are a handful of tables both regular and bar height and a few bar seats. Very cozy and bright and service very friendly. It did take a bit longer than we were expecting for our food to come out. But that 24 hour fermented dough is out of this world - we had the pepperoni, hot honey ricotta pizza and it's hands down one of the best pies I've had - perfect chew on that crispy crust and all of the flavors worked well together. We also ordered the chicken parm and the smoked mozzarella and prosciutto. It would've been helpful if the smoked mozzarella and prosciutto stated on the menu it was a ravioli - the mister enjoyed it but ravioli isn't his first choice for pasta. As for me, my chicken parm was very good BUT I had to get the pizza marinara sauce as the sauce that comes with this dish is bolognese since I can't do red meat. They were very accommodating to give me that option but I don't think it's as flavorful as the mister said his bolognese had a much richer flavor. Drinks were good but strong! Truly, we did enjoy our meals and if for nothing else - I'd order pizzas over and over again from here. Don't sleep on this spot for pizza - it's pretty darn good!

The family running the place was very friendly and helpful. We came here a few days after visiting Kaloo in Warwick. We bought the pistachio Dubai bar in Kahloo and they charged $14. Here at the Middle East Market they charged $9 for the same bar. Plus I feel like they more fluent in English at this store than Kaloo. You can find middle eastern home goods, spices, baked treats, drinks, sweets, international candies (found Flake bars from the UK), meal starter spice/seasoning mixes, frozen foods, and more. On the other side of the store they have smoke shop supplies and more bodega type stuff like snacks, refrigerated drinks, and other impulse buys. I can't really eat carbs anymore but a rose petal covered Turkish delight caught my eye. It was in the bulk candy section which they charge $11.75 per pound. The owner charged me 75¢ for my 1 piece and when I went home to weigh it it came out to almost the same price. All of the jars on the shelves were neatly arranged on the shelves. You could tell that they take great pride in the upkeep of the store. The shop is a little bit off the main road so it's easy in and out. Hope to visit this shop again soon!
