Also, I was able to schedule a two hour window for them to come. They did not show up in that two hour window and when they were contacted about that, there was a note that dispatch had changed the window without telling us. Technician arrived 30 minutes outside of window. He then attempted to charge $350 for the inspection. He claimed the $80 was just for a service fee. Dispatch either lied or omitted the truth. He then proceeded to do very little if anything other than take the $80. Horrible company. I will not use again.

I was referred to East Texas Leak Locators by a very trusted local plumber that I initially called…read morereference a potential foundation leak. I spoke to the business owner Ron at 11:30 AM. He committed to having a crew on site as soon as they cleared their lunch. Ninety minutes later two professionally dressed technicians, Michael and Ernesto arrived. Within twenty minutes they had the leak located and proceed to jackhammer their way through my bathroom floor. The copper pipe's pinhole leak was exactly below the hole they bored. The only portion of the floor that I needed to replace following their repaired of the foundation, was a single 12" by 12" ceramic tile. The technicians were professional, friendly, more than willing to respond to all of my questions. They worked quickly and cleanly. Other than a missing floor tile and the obviously wet concrete in its place, one would have never known that they were here. The bill was exactly what they quoted and the whole job took only two hours. While I hope I will never experience another leak in my foundation piping, if I do, East Texas Leak Locators will be my first call.

I just wanted to go the speed limit; trying to get to the pharmacy to pick up pain meds for my 89 father who has advanced cancer. This Et Texas leak finder employe never sped up to 40 and I was stuck behind him for 50 minutes. when there was a space to pull over a bit to let me pass on the dark windy road, i flashed my lights. He slowed down to 20 for at least 15 minutes, a very aggressive move. i did not make it to the pharmacy so it will be a rough night at my house. Wonder if he was on the clock? I emailed the owner and left a voicemail. I have waited a month but no response. Will never give them my business again. And yes, I have in the past. And no, they did not find the leak. And yes, they did charge me after blasting holes in my foundation. American Plumbers found it on the first try.

Our drains had produced this black oily sludge which Erik explained was the aftermath of years of oil and soap. It was truly a stressful mess. Early that morning, we actually had another plumber who used a traditional drain auger to attempt clearing the drain, but it did not work. Erik used a hydrojet that easily eliminated the black ooze. Afterwards, he used a camera to probe the inner guts of the drain to insure everything was clear. Erik is truly a professional and I will definitely have him back again to maintain these old cast iron drains. On top of that, his pricing is fair and reasonable. I recommend the Drain Man for all your clogged drain needs.

I had asked about a veteran discount to try and get the higher than expected price down a bit. He said he had already given me a discount, so he couldn't do that as well. Wasn't sure what the discount was, but if they do have a veterans discount it's probably better than the ~6% savings from the one he gave me. Work quality (as far as I can tell) was good, but price is extremely high considering the time and parts required. Won't be my first choice next time we have an issue.
