Highly recommend their Belgian waffle and breakfast quesadillas. Waffle was crispy and fluffy and the salted butter was on point! Quesadilla was delicious, super crispy and loaded with fillings. When the waitress finally came she asked for our drinks only even though our menus were stacked on the side of the table because we had ample time to view their large menu. After placing our order the waitress the wait begins. Our waitress was getting coffee, taking plates to and from guests, refilling the coffee grounds, putting toast in the toaster, taking checks, throwing trash away, put the toasted toast on plates, giving people cash, and took a biscuit to put on a plate and covered with gravy ALL WITH HER BARE HANDS!!! Mind you no washing happened in between no SANITATION care at all. My family had enough and went to the register to pay for our drinks to leave. That is gross and it takes seconds to put on gloves.

As I was about to question my order, I literally watched my meal be delivered to a couple a few tables away. I saw Cass walk away thinking nothing of it. She was soon called back to identify the order being delivered incorrectly. She proceeded to take each meal ( two separate plates) back to her work station before figuring out it was our order. She walked over to our table and proceeded to tell me that there was a mix up on my order (I'll give her that) but when I explained that I wasn't comfortable with not knowing if the food had been handled, Cass' response was "ARE YOU SERIOUS?" I couldn't believe what I heard. Wait.. it gets better. I then explain that I preferred a full refund for the meals, her response was (wait for it..) ARE YOU SERIOUS?! Hilarious and so disappointing. I expected so much after waiting that long. It just didn't wow me. I did order a pumpkin spice iced coffee and I liked that they added ghost sprinkles. That was a nice touch. My husband got eggs, bacon and toast. He said it was just alright. I got the stuffed French toast. It was alright. Nothing special. Honestly, I feel like IHOP or Denny's are better than this cafe. Maybe we just ordered the wrong items? Ambiance was extremely crowded and busy. People were waiting for a long time to get a table.

It took about 45 minutes for our food to come out. The ambience was family friendly and similar to any other IHOP places. We ordered the steak omelette and the steak tips plate. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium rare, but it came out well done. The steak was very chewy and had a strange sweet aftertaste. It almost tasted like it had picked up some of the maple flavor from the pancakes or other dishes being cooked nearby. The omelette was okay, but it also had a strange aftertaste that I did not enjoy. Overall, the food was below what I normally expect from IHOP. After eating, I felt pretty heavy and gross, which was not a great way to end the meal. Hopefully this was just an off day, but based on my experience, I would not be in a rush to come back.
