Our sales associate brought out two sets of ring options -- and then essentially disappeared. There was no walkthrough of metal options for men's or women's bands, no explanation of customization choices, and no guidance at all. We were just handed rings and left to figure it out ourselves. I kept having to ask, "Do you have more? Are there more options? Can I see more please?" It felt like pulling teeth just to see additional selections. At times, it genuinely felt like he was reluctant to show us more -- almost as if he just wanted to rush the process, get the order submitted, and move on. That's how it came across. What made it worse was noticing other couples being shown a much wider selection and having options thoroughly explained by their sales associates. They were being engaged with, educated, and guided through the process. We weren't even told additional options were available unless we specifically asked. The overall experience felt very cold and hands-off. I will say another associate kindly checked in on us and asked if we needed anything, which we appreciated -- and honestly, looking back, I wish we had accepted the help. But we wanted to give our assigned SA the opportunity to do his job. On top of that, everything had to be processed online, as they don't take payments in-store. We went ahead and placed our orders, but three hours later, we were still bothered by how disengaged and transactional the experience felt -- so we canceled. I'd rather spend my money somewhere that values customer experience, especially for something as meaningful as wedding rings. It's unfortunate because James Allen was always on my shortlist for wedding jewelry. After this experience -- and seeing similar reviews -- I won't be returning. I just hope the refund process is handled promptly.

There were essential oils and a wide variety of crystals. the shop owner a lovely lady was helping another customer and I was waiting and then noticed my headache was gone. When it was my turn, I said to her I don't know whether it's the smells in the shop or the crystals but my headache was gone. We talked about various crystals and their benefits and I decided on amethyst to take home with me as well as rosemary oil which was originally on my shopping list. I'm so happy to know that there's a crystal shop less than a mile away from my home. I'm also happy to know it's black owned and I look forward to supporting the shop. I decided on a door hanger made of selenite and black tourmaline crystals. This offered protection, grounding, and balance. They also explained that selenite is a softer stone and to avoid getting it wet as water could break it down. Something I would've never known! I included that information with my gift. Thanks to the awesome staff for helping me with my purchase! They also had a spinning display with different cards. The one that said "Kind People Are The Best Kind Of People" really spoke to me, so I got that to include with my gift. The shop has several different sizes of Tibetan singing bowls, stained glass home decor, a wide selection of tarot card decks, some apparel, and more stones in the back area. My nephew selected several small stones and was super happy when the clerk let him choose from a bunch of decorative pouches to store them in when we checked out. All in all, it's a cute shop jam packed with stuff for crystal enthusiasts, so I'd definitely go back. Note: Don't look for the name on the marquee because only the yoga studio's on there (Samskara Yoga and Healing).
