We get to the window and we are waiting and noticed the cashier standing at the window with her back turned to us so we continued just talking casually then notice it has been 10min since we had been waiting. So we look and see that the cashier is still standing at the window with her back turned. We look around her and there isn't much movement, just the employees talking to each other. After about another 3 to 4min she opens the window and we nicely say, we were wondering if all was ok because we have been waiting for a longer than usual time for 1 coffee. Her response was that they are very busy all the time but there were no customers in line or in the shop. Possibly online orders but why she didnt pop her head out to give us some kind of uodate, I dont know? We get the coffee and my Mom takes a sip. The temp of the coffee was luke warm so it had clearly been sitting. Im not sure why they let us sit for so long then gave us a luke warm coffee but we will not be returning to this location. She also did not ask for my Moms phone number so she could get points. Paying what we do for coffee, this was really dissapointing.

I've always had great experiences with Bad Ass Coffee... especially at the Rancho Cucamonga location, where the staff consistently goes above and beyond. Because of that, I had high expectations for this Hesperia location. Unfortunately, this visit was farrrrr short. I ordered two drinks; one with whipped cream and one specifically without. When the drinks were prepared, the one that was supposed to include whipped cream didn't have it. At no point did any staff member mention they were out of whipped cream. When I asked about it at the counter, I was met with a dismissive response: "Oh, we're out of whipped cream for the day." There was no apology or effort to make it right. What made the situation more frustrating was overhearing staff offer alternative options (like cold foam alternative) to customers right after us due to the same issue. That option was never extended to us, which felt inconsistent and unfair. Additionally, the overall atmosphere was uncomfortable. The staff's behavior came across as oddly secretive and unwelcoming, especially when my sister and niece arrived. It felt like there were unnecessary comments and attitudes directed toward us, which made the experience even more unpleasant. I believe this location would benefit from additional training in customer services. Particularly around communication, consistency, and treating all customers with equal respect. At a minimum, situations like running out of an ingredient should be clearly communicated, along with an apology and an alternative option offered to every customer. It's extremely disappointing to see this level of service associated with a brand that I've otherwise held in high regard.
