Zenergy has long been considered the premier spa in Sun Valley, which is exactly why this experience was so surprising. I booked a $400 HydraFacial the week before my wedding and expected a level of service that matched both the price and the reputation. My fiancé booked a men's facial while I booked the HydraFacial. About 10 minutes into our appointments, I realized we had been given each other's treatments. I was receiving the men's facial, while my fiancé, who is a man, had been started on my HydraFacial. I was the one who caught the mistake. Instead of handling it themselves, my esthetician told me she could not interrupt my fiancé's facial, so I had to get completely dressed, leave my treatment room, and go to the front desk to sort it out myself. By the time everything was resolved, my HydraFacial did not begin until 4:25 and ended at 4:55, leaving only about 30 minutes of treatment. Unfortunately, the facial itself was equally disappointing. The lights were never dimmed, the knee cushion was never adjusted, and aside from using the HydraFacial device once, there was essentially no facial performed. It felt rushed and nowhere close to what I would expect from a $400 treatment. My fiancé was also disappointed with his facial. He described it as mostly lotion being rubbed on his face with very little else. We were also surprised to learn that the same person who had done my manicure a few weeks earlier was performing his facial... To Zenergy's credit, they waived the charges, and I appreciated that gesture. What ultimately prompted me to leave this review, however, was the email I received afterward from the spa manager. Rather than acknowledging the service failures, the response focused on explaining booking procedures and HydraFacial contraindications, implying that we had somehow misunderstood the appointments. That was never the issue. The issue was the mix up, the fact that I lost a significant portion of my appointment because of an error I had to identify and resolve myself, and the quality of the service we ultimately received. My family, friends, and I have been coming to Zenergy for years, and we have never felt the need to complain. Lately, I have been hearing from more and more people around Sun Valley that they feel Zenergy has been going downhill, and I sincerely hope that is not the case. The facilities are beautiful, and the vast majority of the staff has always been wonderful. That is exactly why this experience, and especially the response from management, was so disappointing. I hope this feedback is taken seriously because Zenergy has built an incredible reputation, and I would hate to see that standard slip.

HardCore was a really creative, effective way to change it all up. Think TRX completely, brilliantly redesigned and expanded upon by physiology geniuses. As Bill led me through a full body workout I was engaging so many muscles in new, smart ways with the proprietary equipment. And as tough as this workout was, it was very low impact, felt utterly safe, and I felt no stress on joints the way regular weight lifting can do. Even though I wish I could do weekly sessions to incorporate HardCore into my fitness routines, I am so glad I tried this while visiting and will definitely go back when I visit again.

This was my second visit to this senior center, but my first time having lunch here. Kelly, the site manager, was cooking what smelled like a delicious barbecue pork lunch on my first visit. The cook had called in sick and she was tasked with making the lunch. Her demeanor was still cheery and welcoming even with taking on a duty I don't think she was planning on this particular day. She also made what looked and smelled like some bomb homemade brownies. But on this visit - I got to have lunch. On the menu today was chicken and dumplings. Which admittedly is one of my least favorite things to eat. I would not ever have this - unless I had to. And being here for lunch, and it being what was served, I had to. And it wasn't bad. The people I was sitting with who have chicken and dumplings often said that these were pretty good. The flavor was good, there were big pieces of chicken, and the dumplings reminded me of gnocchi. Dumplings I've had - and not liked - in the past were very pasty/gummy. So these were OK for me, but pretty good by standards of people more familiar with what this dish should taste like. The salad bar is a good one. Clean, with a good amount of the usual fresh items to put on your lettuce in addition to cottage cheese and peaches. And for dessert: BROWNIES! They had baked 2 pans of them, and had a tub of vanilla ice cream to go with. The brownies were gooey and delicious and warm when I put the vanilla ice cream on top. Yummmmmy! Lunch is $5 for seniors, $6 for those under 60, and served on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Everybody knows everybody here. And they seem to take care of each other. So and so wasn't doing well, so they packed up a lunch and took it to him. They made a 2020 calendar to sell (with proceeds going back to the senior center) with everyone's birthdays on it. A group stayed after lunch to play cards. There was a quilting area where a lady was working on a quilt that was going to be for sale at the Christmas bazaar. They have many events here for seniors: *Art class each Thursday 10am-12pm *Bingo 2nd Wed 1pm *Book Club 1st Wed of each month 3:30pm *Breakfast 2nd Saturday 8-10am *Cards Tues/Wed/Fri 1:30-4pm *Exercise Class Tues/Thurs 5pm *Foot Clinic 4th Wed 9:30am *Laughter Yoga Tue1pm *Meditation Tues 7pm *Miracle Hot Springs Trip 1st Mon of each month 8am *Old Time Fiddlers 4th Fridays 11:30am *Prairie Quilters Tue/Fri 10am-12pm *Weight Loss Group Tues 10:30 am - when you're that far in and away from larger cities, I think it's great that they are a destination for people to get out and be social. The facility is clean, with clean bathrooms, delicious food, and good, quality people. As with all senior centers I have been to for lunch, they do a blessing before the meal and the Pledge of Allegiance. It's a pretty drive out to the Camas Prairie, and if you time it right, you can enjoy a nice meal with with great people too.
