I have been coming to Zenergy for years, and this is the first time I have ever felt compelled to leave a review. Zenergy has long been considered the premier spa in Sun Valley, which is exactly why this experience was so surprising. I booked a $400 HydraFacial the week before my wedding and expected a level of service that matched both the price and the reputation. My fiancé booked a men's facial while I booked the HydraFacial. About 10 minutes into our appointments, I realized we had been given each other's treatments. I was receiving the men's facial, while my fiancé, who is a man, had been started on my HydraFacial. I was the one who caught the mistake. Instead of handling it themselves, my esthetician told me she could not interrupt my fiancé's facial, so I had to get completely dressed, leave my treatment room, and go to the front desk to sort it out myself. By the time everything was resolved, my HydraFacial did not begin until 4:25 and ended at 4:55, leaving only about 30 minutes of treatment. Unfortunately, the facial itself was equally disappointing. The lights were never dimmed, the knee cushion was never adjusted, and aside from using the HydraFacial device once, there was essentially no facial performed. It felt rushed and nowhere close to what I would expect from a $400 treatment. My fiancé was also disappointed with his facial. He described it as mostly lotion being rubbed on his face with very little else. We were also surprised to learn that the same person who had done my manicure a few weeks earlier was performing his facial... To Zenergy's credit, they waived the charges, and I appreciated that gesture. What ultimately prompted me to leave this review, however, was the email I received afterward from the spa manager. Rather than acknowledging the service failures, the response focused on explaining booking procedures and HydraFacial contraindications, implying that we had somehow misunderstood the appointments. That was never the issue. The issue was the mix up, the fact that I lost a significant portion of my appointment because of an error I had to identify and resolve myself, and the quality of the service we ultimately received. My family, friends, and I have been coming to Zenergy for years, and we have never felt the need to complain. Lately, I have been hearing from more and more people around Sun Valley that they feel Zenergy has been going downhill, and I sincerely hope that is not the case. The facilities are beautiful, and the vast majority of the staff has always been wonderful. That is exactly why this experience, and especially the response from management, was so disappointing. I hope this feedback is taken seriously because Zenergy has built an incredible reputation, and I would hate to see that standard slip. read more

Been here twice from Boise. The facial treatments are underwhelming and shockingly expensive for what you get. On top of that they charged us $100 extra after paying over $700 for our treatments because our daughter was with us and used the pool area while we were getting our treatments. We tried to get one for her but they were booked. The young gal at the front desk didn't need to be so rude as there could have been an attempt to ask for an exception this one time. It's sad that basic common sense has been depleted in today's world that even w customer service employee behaves in such a manner to a paying, returning customer. One hundred dollars today cost this place much more in the long run. Hire better. The guys at the pool bar by the way, were absolutely fantastic! read more

This is the place to go for a massage in Sun Valley! So relaxing and rejuvenating. Spa has awesome ambiance. We made a reservation 1 week in advance. We didn't know until after our massage that the rest of the club was open for us to use. So, we used the weight room, steam room, sauna and very large hot tub. Hot tub overlooks the beautiful valley and hills as seen in photo- what a view! I felt spoiled being there. Wonderful amenities- kind and helpful staff. Their review is based on a day visit, consisting of working out at the gym, using the pools and getting a spa treatment. I would give it 3.5 if I could, but if I have to choose one, it'll be a 3. I had very high expectations based on what I read and overall it didn't knock my socks off. The gym is nice, but felt limited and crowded. The pools and the locker rooms were my favorite part. I like that they have saltwater in the pools. The spa is ok, pricey for what you get and the front desk staff weren't that great. I have been to lots of spas, so I might be a spa snob. With that said, I don't regret checking it out for a day. Next time I'd go work out at the YMCA, which looked pretty nice and more spacious. read more

I booked a mani/pedi. I was excited to check out the spa since I had not been before. I expected it to be much more grand than it was because of all the "hype" Zenergy gets. The nail area was nothing special at all. Not very relaxing and not the atmosphere you would expect. I could have a better set up in my basement. The lady who did my mani/pedi was nice but not very chatty and in less than a week my manicure chipped on 3 nails! I had a GEL manicure. Will not be back and do not recommend, unfortunately. read more

My family came here while we were on vacation and my stepmom asked for one of the people at the front desk to give me a tour. I was asked if there was anything in particular I was looking for and I said I was looking for a place stretch and the locker rooms. I was led around the top floor and then brought through a bit of a confusing maze on the second floor. I was shown through the women's locker room and I believe through the men's side to exit. The two locker rooms meet in the back so it is very confusing. I was shown around the rest of the maze and not left at the women's locker room (which would be the logical place based on my request). Somehow I ended up at the men's side and had no idea. I ended up leaving my stuff in there and realized my error when I came back. I was told by multiple people that this happens often, so even more of a reason to clarify verbally and leave me at the correct locker room! The one staff member that was helpful and friendly was a woman who was putting towels away. She stopped me before returning to the mens side to and brought the women at the front desk who had given me the tour earlier. There was no apology or sympathy for the uncomfortable situation I had ended up in due to her insufficient guidance. She had someone else get my things in the locker and our conversation while waiting gave me the impression she thought I was an absolute idiot. Moving on, there were signs posted saying you are not permitted to talk on the phone anywhere. Even worse than just talking on the phone, there was a man that was on FaceTime with someone walking around and stoping continuously in front of the stretching area I wanted to use for the entire hour and a half I was at the gym. This is definitely an invasion of privacy as he kept showing all around the gym to whoever was watching on the other end. I left this place frustrated, humiliated and uncomfortable. The women at the front desk glared at me and my family as we walked out. Lastly, there was not one person wearing a mask in the whole place. read more

This is by far the best health and fitness center in Idaho. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and their amenities are first class. Eucalyptus infused steam rooms, Himalayan Salt wall saunas, diverse gym and cardio equipment, and beautiful heated outdoor pool with a view of Baldy are just some of the things Zenergy offers. My boyfriend and I went to Ketchum to ski and ended up spending the whole weekend at Zenergy! It's the perfect place to spend a romantic weekend and good for the whole family as well. My family and I spent the day at zenergy spa. It was over mothers day weekend, so it was the off season, but it was great. The two boys in our family went first and got massages, while the girls took a ballet barre class. It was an awesome class, taught by a great teacher. Once the boys were done, the girls got massages and the boys played tennis. It was an amazing day and was not for a bad price at all! We all had massages that were $100 each but we got a free class and tennis included. All facilities are open to those who are recieving services. It might be a different experience for you if you go during a time of year that Ketchum is more populated, but it was a awesome place with excellent service. The only downfall was that it was hard to find. read more

I dont know why I havent posted a review for this spa before. I have been here previously for the same service, a 50-minute massage and have always had a wonderful experience. I am from out of town so it's nice to book a service and get the day pass to the gym and all of the sweet amenities Zenergy has to offer. I recommend booking in advance especially during peak travel times but I 100% recommend it. The only thing I would be weary about is if you are pregnant and opt for a prenatal massage. My friend had one and was uncomfortable with the different set up that was supposed to be more comfortable. Not sure what happened there but just a heads up! Otherwise, book! Oh, and try the mango smoothie upstairs. Soo good! read more

They have everything you need to go hard- the best equipment, the best classes, and when you're done on the court, in the pool (indoor or outdoor- year round!), in the new Pivot gym you've got pure bliss to recover- Himalayan salt sauna, steam room, spa and massage, healthy eats and protein shakes, big luxurious soft towels and wonderful changing and shower facilities...this gym has it all and SO much more. Not impressed. We were in town on a business trip and just need a place to swim for an hour because the Olympic pool at Sun Valley Inn doesn't open until Monday. We have a reciprocal membership with our gym in WA which should have made a day pass a breeze and affordable. In reality, not so much. The man at the front desk made a big point of saying "we don't sell day passes," and cut us off before we could explain about the reciprocity. He directed us to their membership director who didn't seem to know what was going on. After looking at her computer for a while, she said she could give us day passes with our reciprocity for $40 - per person! Nearly $100 for the two of us to swim for an hour. Seriously?! We never saw the gym area, just the upstairs, which looked anything but "zen." It was crowded and chaotic. The membership director sits at a little cluttered desk next to the stairs. The cafe appeared to be a place where you can just grab a pre-made sandwich and a bottle of water, as opposed to a place where they will fix something for you. We just weren't as impressed with this place as the people who work there are. Seems that they should be more accommodating given that they are in a place where lots of people come and go for a day here or there. If you need a place to work out - check out the YMCA in Ketchum. It is new, clean, spacious, and the people are friendly and accommodating. read more

Steam room is epic the day after some hardcore après ski... Hot tub probably has the best winter view in the valley. Workout area a bit small and cramped but you can't complain too much. read more
