Staying temporarily on Mill Lane in West Hampstead, London I was looking for somewhere to get brunch. Almost directly opposite from where I was staying was this little cafe, recently opened in a previously very-much patronized place. Sweet, modern, welcoming, clean and peaceful. The menu had build your own croissant with diff. fillings, many traditional egg dishes, a few aubergine and egg dishes, (the owners are Iranian), and good coffees. I chose "flat steamed green beans with tomato, garlic, herbs and a fried egg on the top". When it was brought to me it was a very richly delicious mix (I believe organic) with a pile of baby salad leaves ( rocket (arugula) et. al), excellent toasted bread and a big scoop of what I thought was butter, but then tasted and thought it was cream cheese, but it turned out to be some kind of yogurt cheese. It was fantastically delicious. I had to testify to the cook right then. It cost only 5:50 pounds, generous portion, and the menu description didn't even begin to do it justice. It is open from 8-5 pm.,Today was Sunday, so I am not sure when or if they close for a day. It was impressively good, lovely presentation, and very good vibes people. I was happy to see many people come in within the hour I was there. I will definitely be back. It is so new it is not mentioned on the Internet. read more
