My partner and I, who are slightly difficult foodies, regularly enjoy dining at the Richmond Vault…read more We love their delicious menu, fun atmosphere and super friendly staff. Recently, however, due to unforeseen circumstances, I was in desperate need of a last minute venue for my birthday party. In less than a week, the staff at the Richmond Vault helped us pull off a successful birthday party for just under 20 people. Along with the manager, the floor manager, and the chef, they cornered off an area of the restaurant downstairs just for us, put together a super delicious and dietary diverse canapé buffet-style menu (at a very reasonable price per head), allowed us to bring in a birthday cake from an outside caterer, were attentive to and served our guests well all evening, managed the open tab seamlessly and professionally... and all of this with friendliness and smiles from A to Z! These guys went the extra mile! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice dinner out in Richmond or for anyone looking for a place to have a small party of any kind. Thank you guys for making my birthday memorable!

What a wonderful way to spend an evening!…read more Two films (usually with a theme running between them) for £7.50. SEVEN FIFTY!! Last night's was a Joaquin Phoenix double bill, showing Walk The Line followed by Two Lovers. While we ended up skipping the first film and just having dinner, the price is still very reasonable. We shared a lovely bottle of wine outside on the terrace (had to sit on the wall though as all the tables were full) with amazing views of the river and Hammersmith Bridge. Back inside for dinner, which we shared: a large mezze platter and some mushroom bruschetta, both of which were delicious and just enough. The cinema itself is what every cinema should be: small and dark, with the seats on an incline so everyone can see. They showed the previews and ads WAY before the start time (PERFECT!!), even drew the curtains in between the previews and the film itself (DRAMATIC!!). Riverside has much more to offer than just a restaurant and a cinema... it also shows stand-up comedy, has a fully functioning tv studio where they film live shows, a theatre for live music, and art exhibitions. A wonderful space with quality at every turn.

It has a small dance area but plays really decent music. Not cheesey music at all, mostly old skool rnb and garage. Definitely make your body grooving! No food is served at this place but the drinks does make up for it! ( eating is cheating...right?) The price is reasonable for London especially the sharer. Although it said for 3- 4 to share. We went with 11 girls everyone does get at least more than afew mouthful! What is also amazing if you booked and reseved table the barman does look after you. They also will keep topping water up for you, which it makes a lot of different in a hot dance floor. I teally enjoy my night with my girls. It also you don't have to be blasted to have a goodtime. Also forgot to mention, in the ladies toilet as you walk in don't be alarm to see dismantle babies nakely framing the mirror. It was very bizzard!

The staff were pretty top notch, minus the odd grumpy bartender who clearly wanted to be anywhere but there. I dig the nostalgic concept and will be back to try the food, which seems to be all the rave. Definitely a place for groups and dates.

Then I wander why my bank balance appears to have a hole in it! So when I discovered B@1 a couple of years ago, I thought it was a match made in heaven. I have been to this B@1 for a couple of years now. It is not a big venue, and gets filled up extremely quickly. This is not a place for a quiet drink. The crowd on a weekend is generally boisterous but good natured. You will find yourself having to shout to whoever you are with, and will probably end up in a human sandwich every time you head to the bar. To be perfectly honest, B@1 lacks a little bit of atmosphere. They focus entirely on lots of cocktails and loud music, so it s a fun venue in Richmond, probably the only one of its kind, but its not a bar that you are going to remember in years to come.

Had to make a run for it after one drink, as the smell and heat was unbearable, which was a shame really as they were doing 2 for 1 on Cuba Libres, quite nicely mixed too.. Extensive cocktail list, according to the book of cocktails, the bar staff have a knowledge of over 190 cocktails. Worth a visit, but if it's warm I suggest a seat by the door with a foot propping it open.
