Every time I asked for help they Ignored me as if my money wasn't good enough as everyone else's 3 they have a minimum charge of 25 per person 4. Most overpriced hookah I have ever smoked 5. THEY SERVED MY WIFE AND I CHEESECAKE THAT WAS EXPIRED AND EVER SINCE I GOT BACK TO THE HOTEL I HAVE BEEN THROWING UP AND HAVING DIARRHEA!!! Literally the most I paid to have bowel issues When I come back to London I definitely will not be going here ever again for shisha or good or dessert

Being neighbours to a widely known hotel, they must think of themselves as the dogs b******s but are sooooo lame. A Japanese fusioned menu which they can't cook to the right standard. Relatively high prices which the end product cannot justify. Very difficult venue to find as not signposted at all. Even the grounds they share with hotel doesn't showcase the venue so they must be embarrassed of their small time inferior neighbours! Recap: crap food, crap atmosphere, difficult venue to find, high prices, fake - being something they are not and unable to deliver to. I would avoid! Many Many Many times better and classier sheesha and food establishments available around the city, choose one of them and enjoy.

We immediately loved the decor and outdoor seating and decided to sit outside and people watch while we drank and had a catch up. They offer table service and our waiter was really nice and able to offer recommendations. Drinks are on the pricier side, but the cocktails were delicious and I suppose, it is Wimbledon! Later into the evening, reserved signs were put onto all the tables and the place really filled up. It seems this is a popular local spot. The atmosphere really got going and I would say it is a great place to meet friends in the evening. There is a young vibe, all the staff are fairly young but the customers were of a more mature age.

I can imagine that during the Wimbledon tennis season, it must be absolutely packed as there is plenty of outdoor seating and it simply has a great vibe. I wish I lived closer to it, i would definitely go more often. The decor is simplistic, modern and looks brilliant. You may think that is would be quite expensive being right next to the tennis ground and Wimbledon being quite expensive in general, but prices are the same as any other lush London bar. The service is fantastic, everybody seemed cheeful and smiles were everywhere, when in such an environment, it rubs off on you, so I had a great time on my one and only visit. It is not as if Wimbledon is just around the corner to me, so I wont be going in the foreseeable future, but look forward to my next trip. Wimbldon is a great area, and Ecplipse is somewhere to chill out after a longs day walking and shopping there.

I've stayed at the Orange Tree, in the 13-room inn/hotel above the pub. I've eaten in the pub, the English breakfast that comes with an overnight stay, but I've not chosen the pub as a place to hang out (and wouldn't with so many interesting Richmond pubs along the Thames). The Orange Tree, as a place of lodging, is nicely maintained and stylish. The room was clean with a sizable entry space, a good sized bathroom, and even had a bit of design-y flair. I was relieved to find that my room, though up several flights of stairs, didn't look out over the main street; I suspect that would have been a loud, busy room. Mine was neither. Orange Tree is very well located in Richmond, almost across from the train station (or tube) that'll take you back to central London. It's also a short walk to the waterfront or, in the other direction, a heartier (but easy and flat) walk to Kew Gardens. By the time I stayed at Orange Tree I was tiring of the full English Breakfast but have to admit they did a nice job of it. We ordered our choices off a menu and the pub was quiet and empty at breakfast time - perfect. The nicest compliment I could bestow on a place of lodging is saying that I'd stay there again. As long as I could get a room that doesn't face the front I'd happily stay at Orange Tree again.

And the food quality is excellent - a true gastro pub. My friend loved her crispy gnocchi herbal salad and my meat and chorizo pie with cheddar mash was outstanding. With good local beer and friendly service, the Orange Tree is def a great place to eat in Richmond. Tip - The Orange Tree Theatre is right across the street making this pub a perfect pre-theatre meeting spot or post-theatre drink destination.
