The Chatsworth is a very small scale club. It's basically what you would expect to be in Acton. It's basically where all of the locals go if they want to go out, but are actually too lazy to "go out". I would advise for you to pregame at the Red Lion and Pineapple which is right across the street because drinks are half the price of the already cheap drinks at the Chatsworth. I would suggest getting to the Chatsworth before 23:00 so that entry is free, if you arrive after 23:00 there's a 5 pound cover charge which honestly isn't worth it.
I really liked the setup of the club; it had various different arrangements to fit whatever mood you're in. There's a decent sized dance floor for if you feel the need to dance, a bunch of couches and tables in a more excluded area if you want to just chill out and relax, and a decent amount of seating around the bar for those more interested in chugging down alcohol.
The music that they play seems to be all American music that was popular in the states at least 5 years ago. The majority of the guys on the dance floor just hover around groups of girls trying to dance with someone to try and bring home that night. So be warned that you will have to fend off guys left and right.
The types of people that attend Chatsworth vary. There's a bunch of freshly turned 18 year olds, to working class 20 something's, and then a handful of older guys in their 50-60's that hang out by the bar. There is not an age spectrum that isn't covered.
As far as dress goes, it seems that most people don't really get dressed up to go out here. The majority of people just wear what they would have been wearing to work. So look nice as if you've showered within the past day, and maybe throw on a skirt or a button down. But don't feel the need to go out of your way.
Keep in mind that this IS NOT a club in Soho or Camden in anyway at all. If you want to go to a nice, upscale club, don't come here. The Chatsworth is not worth traveling even 10mins by tube, but if you live within walking distance of it, I HIGHLY advise you to go. It's a great place to drink cheaply, meet some locals, and at the end of the night you'll be able to easily stumble your way home despite being drunk as hell. read more
