When I came in I was greeted and told to enter a vacant room. I explained I had a Groupon, so I was escorted to the front for my voucher to be verified and recorded. It was then I was told about paying $5 for taxes, which she said I could pay at the end. The massage room was small but clean. Soft music was on repeat. Once I was undressed and covered with a sheet, the woman came in and went to work. This was one of the best massages I've ever had. The attention to detail and hitting all the right areas and pressure points were incredibly relaxing. By the end of the massage, everywhere from my head to my toes was worked on. The only negative was when I went to pay the tax. I used my card for that and told the 2 women at the counter I'd be paying cash for the tip. After tipping, the other woman goes "Excuse me. Maybe next time you can give her a better tip." I politely said no, that was fine, and walked out. I heard them speaking as I walked out. I don't know why people are so bent out of shape nowadays about receiving tips and/or how much.

I guess he works there, but his demeanor is off-putting. My guess, he is married to one of the masseuses. Next, the woman who showed me to the massage room, and was still waiting there when I returned from a stop in the restroom, was not the woman who gave me the massage. She was fine, but I like to be introduced to the person who is going to work on me. I don't enjoy it becoming a shell game. Finally, although they accept credit card payments, this time I was charged a few extra bucks for using one. This is something I have seen in other Chinese places, but there is usually a sign or verbal notice that this is being done. Not here. Not sure I want to go back.
