As I helped my…read moreclients plan their wedding - from out of state - in less than 3 months, I couldn't have asked for better boots on the ground. Prior to the wedding, she is a wealth of information and resources for clients and vendors alike so you never have to start from scratch. As a Planner I know that working with experienced, vetted vendors is worth its weight in gold and Kerri helped make that happen. It's honestly a great venue for "the destination couple" who wants a beautiful rustic wedding at a great venue, without having to worry about a thing - trust me, Kerri will take care of you. Owls Hoot Barn even has an in-house planning team you can hire, that is dedicated to serving OHB couples who need additional support. The Wedding Weekend (helped along by great weather!) went even better than I hoped for this client! I worked with Abigail to get some early setup done and she is a gem! The day of the wedding I was thoroughly impressed with the Venue's Staff, including the in-house food and beverage staff that worked seamlessly with the preferred catering company Forno Rosso. Ashley was such a huge help all day and quickly answered all my random questions and requests throughout the day. Our bartenders for the evening were Brandy and Terri and I never saw them without a smile as they helped guests. The F&B Staff were - always attentive and willing to help with small adjustments. From Jessica who helped make sure everything looked great and went according to plan, to Kerri's own daughter - everyone was polished, professionally dressed, and overall incredible. The guest experience was perfect. Our clients were happy and their guests had a blast!

The old barn dates back to the 1700s and is the perfect setting for a rustic country wedding. We stayed through Harvest Hosts, but they also rent cabins, a farmhouse, RV spots, and a glamping barn. The property also has a wood-fired sauna, cold plunge, and a creekside swimming hole--such a relaxing and memorable stay!

Nicole is not only incredibly organized and thorough but she gives tremendous advise too. The cottages are lovely and spotless due to her focus on the details and big picture. With Nicole as manager, we are considering renting some of the cottages for an extended family winter vacation. Nicole and everyone on her team are courteous and helpful, setting a wonderful tone. The neighborhood is just ok but once you walk onto the property, you'll see why its a little oasis, right on the lake. The cottages are lovely --modern with full nice kitchens, fireplaces, comfortable beds, etc. We used local vendors which worked out so well! They all had worked on the property and with each other so it was flawless. We had such a good experience, we're considering renting some of the cottages for a family reunion. Thank you to Nicole and her team for helping create such a magical experience!

From the very…read morebeginning, Rick (the owner) was so helpful and always available whenever we had questions or needed guidance. He truly cares about the couples who get married on his property, and it shows. Amber was also incredible--she knew every detail of the venue inside and out and became our day-of coordinator. Thanks to her, the day flowed seamlessly, and we never had to worry about a thing. Her organization and calm presence allowed us to just enjoy every moment. The property itself is absolutely stunning. Our first look photos by the waterfall were breathtaking, and everywhere you turn feels like a perfect backdrop for photos. Guests couldn't stop talking about the cows, which ended up being such a unique and fun highlight for everyone. The Barn at Indian Ridge offers the perfect mix of rustic charm, natural beauty, and wonderful people who genuinely want your day to be perfect. Choosing this venue was the best decision we made, and we will forever be grateful for the memories we made here.

He met with the future couple several times, recommended his choices for catering and floral arrangements but also explained she could use anyone she wanted. She went with his suggestions and hired from his short list and all did great, no, fantastic jobs. The grounds themselves are stunning and pristine. This place is on three hundred acres and far enough from the road and neighbors that there is no concern about how loud you might get while celebrating. During the cocktail hour there were two corn hole games set up which a lot of us had fun trying out. The staff was really attentive and friendly. Everything went off without a hitch. I cannot say enough about the owner Ricky and the simple things he did to be one step above the rest. He had them leave one of their trucks there and had the staff pack up all the gifts and belongings of theirs so they could leave and continue the party without needing to worry about it. The next day when my wife and I took out new daughter back to pick up her truck, he showed up and spent time asking her if she was happy with how things went, and was just friendly and engaging with her, who, was ecstatic with the event and venue and just wanted to talk to him. He hung out and help us pack up the last few items too. His staff also climbed up the ladders into the rafters to take down the flower boxes she built so we did not have to go up there ourselves. All in all, our experience here was great. I have seen some of the photos that were taken and this location as the background was perfect. If you are looking for a venue you could not do any better. There are plenty of hotels withing a short driving distance and he mentioned to us he is planning to put in Glam camping tents as well as buying trailer homes so people could rent and stay right on the grounds. Definitely worth a look!

We arrived on Friday night and kicked things off with a barbecue on the terrace. Everything you need for an easy and fun cook up is on hand. Most of the group were new to BOTP and the Catskills and were in awe of both. The accommodations are more fabulous than they look in the already great photography on the website, and so comfortable. Everyone was happy and we spread out across the barn, airstream and cabin. I slept in the solarium with hubby. Now he wants us to upgrade to king size bed at home. Propped up on all the fluffy pillows and bolsters for my morning read surrounded by the verdant scenery was a balm for this New Yorker's psyche. Hubby also took an instant liking to one of the armchairs. This one room is so versatile. One of the writers in our group used the desk during the day. When you close the doors it is very very quiet. The couples in kitchen and master bedrooms respectively slept soundly, while the mezzanine crew were equally happy and at ease. The cabin peeps, a father and son, were thrilled to have their own separate digs and absolutely loved it. Two gal pals had the airstream and they too rested well . In short we were all in our happy place and were all able to really relax. Everything through out the property sings inspired human. As a group we felt so blessed and connected, free and flowing. When our Saturday morning attempt to leave and go swimming was thwarted by a deluge we just danced and practiced yoga in the rain. This was just happy sober. When the skies did clear in the afternoon some of us went swimming at a nearby lake, some went for a scenic drive and checked out a whiskey distillery and some just lounged. Barn on the Pond is amazing, a luxury immersion in nature, the service from the Team incredible, we will be back next year for another birthday and to host a meditation retreat.

What a great experience!!! Terrific place for a weekend getaway. Peaceful, excellent, and wonderful.read more

The small cottages are clean and cozy, with small kitchens, full bathrooms and a sitting area along with the bedroom. I love the privacy of having my own cottage but Michelle and Noah are great hosts. She makes her own soap and the last time we were there we got fresh muffins delivered to our cottage in the morning. They also have a small farm on the property complete with llamas. You can kick back on the porch and look at the stars after a hike in Minnewaska State Park or a climb in Mohonk Preserve, or after wine tasting or farm-stand browsing, all very nearby. Dining options are all about a 20 minutes drive but if you're new to the area check out Rosendale's restaurants. The environment and surroundings are rustic, so don't expect a hotel experience. This is like having a very nicely appointed little home (away from home). Reasonably priced, too, especially considering the highway robbery of the terrible motels near New Paltz.
