Our food was delicious and flavorful starting from the yummy Mango Lassi, Garlic Cheese Naan bread, and all of the different dishes we ordered. I am raving about my Lamb Vindaloo that I got with 3-star spice. I appreciate that this was at the top of my desired spice range and so perfect because often when I order 3-stars, it doesn't have even a hint of spice. The 5-star spice my dining companion got for their Chicken Tikka Masala was actually very spicy as well and we love that they are taking us seriously about our wanting true spice and not watered-down "Americanized" level of spice. My other dining companions got a 2-star level Lamb Curry and a 3-star level Butter Chicken. They both really enjoyed their dishes as well. Sometimes we had to wait for service, but I felt they were trying their best and the owners who were taking care of us that day were attentive enough. They stopped here and there to check on us, chat with us, and filled our water glasses often. The dining room is clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. There is some parking there and lots of street parking where you might have to walk a bit but I found it nice to walk and the road is relatively smooth and flat. Namaste is now on my Top 5 list of go-to restaurants in the Pullman/Moscow areas. Ignore the naysayers, try them out, and decide for yourself!

I decided to try the basics, Tikka Masala and Butter chicken as well as a side of garlic naan. The Garlic Naan came out first and let me say I am extremely disappointed in the "garlic" naan. It was an extra $1 to add garlic, but when I received it there was no fresh garlic like advertised! It was only garlic powder. Why should anybody pay for $1 more just for a sprinkle of garlic powder? I tried the butter chicken and Tikka Masala and it was good but honestly lacking flavor. I have tried Indian food from around and the seasoning isn't really there. The spice was okay but there wasn't as much flavor as I would like. I also was disappointed in the service. When ordering the main dishes, I asked if the chicken was white meat or dark meat, she told me "I don't know" and stood there without saying anything else. I wish she could have gone back and asked, as it was a simple question that could be easily answered. We were also hardly checked on, which was disappointing. Overall my experience wasn't the best. Butter chicken needs to have its own distinct smoky buttery flavor, which was missing. The kofta ball was nice. Garlic naan could be more garlicky and crisp. Aloo paratha was evenly stuffed with potato stuffing but contains ginormous amounts of whole coriander seeds. I felt they could be coarsely ground that would be best, taste wise thumbs up. The samosa had crispy covering and moist gooey potato filling served with tamarind chutney, green chutney; loved it! The yoghurt served with the aloo paratha was definitely home made, it had a layer of malai on top! Mango lassi was refreshing in the scorching sun, could be a little less on elaichi. They were out of the Goat curry, will visit next just for that. The Trucks operation hours are only the weekends, do not miss out.
