I've seen tons of hairdressers and have gotten my hair bleached, highlighted, balayaged over and over and it has always weakened and damaged my hair. Jessica is the only one who has done all that to my hair and it's never gotten damaged or break or feel like husk. Her price is very reasonable. Her salon is immaculately clean and so cute with lots of sun and light coming in with huge windows, love the vibe in this salon! I must add there is a parking lot so you don't have to pay while getting your hair done unlike the rest of Walnut Creek with the timed street parking or the garages.

She's also cut my daughter and husband's hair and they loved her as well. It's hard to find someone like Crystal who cares so much about her clients and always make you feel heard and taken care of. Check them out if you're still on the fence. Lucy is experienced, creative, and professional - I also need to mention she's the sweetest! I will ONLY be going to her from now on. If you care about your hair, let Lucy work her expert magic on you! Background: As a young professional (25 yrs old), I wanted a trendy brunette balayage. My mistake, I went to a terrible stylist that completely ruined my hair. It looked good for a couple of days, but then after the first wash all I had was a fried, messy, uneven head of straw. Enter Lucy! I miraculously found her by word of mouth. I called, explained my situation to her, and she took care of me at first "Hello!". I quickly booked my emergency appointment. I made sure to tell her as much as I could about my hair coloring history. She gave me a fresh cut, redid the uneven balayage, toned out the brassiness, and most importantly repaired/restored the softness and luster in my hair with a treatment she whipped up herself. I am so in love with the color, it's gorgeous and unique. I keep getting compliments from everyone! Her pricing is very reasonable, she explained the process thoroughly to me, and taught me a lot about hair care and styling at home as well. Thank you so much Lucy for saving my hair! Can't wait to see you again soon!!!

I have tried some hair salon around Lafayette, Walnut Creek Area, and didn't return to any of them after first try. Lucy is the one I will definitely come back. She gave a consultation before the actual haircut, that's so great the stylist wants to know you and what you really want. She suggests me try some style different, but she also promises me it will be a conservative change. It turns out a fresh and young look. Love it! If you want to find someone who can do haircut for Chinese, who really care the quality of her work, give Lucy a try. You won't be regret.

She's super flexible and though she's busy, getting appointments is convenient and easy - I have a very demanding job so ease of scheduling is really valuable. I followed her from one salon to her own salon. She's the best. I shouldn't tell you this, because I don't want you to swipe my appointment, but she's *literally* my favorite and knows how to make my long layered super ashy borderline platinum blonde hair pop. Also super fast, clean, good with small talk/big talk or silence. Her mama is an amazing aesthetician next door, so it's almost a family business! Love these girls. Ten stars for Danielle! At 4:55, when I was already near the salon, this stylist stated she was running late and needed to reschedule me for 6pm. Unfortunately it did not end there. 20 minutes before my new appt time, she asked me if I wanted to schedule yet again because she is running behind. Giving me a new time of 6:20pm. This is a complete disregard for my time, and quite honestly lack of professionalism. If there is one thing I hate is people wasting my time. I get that things come up, and something happens, but this is not the way to go about it. I can't speak of her work, but her work ethic and professionalism is not in the room with us. I drove 20 mins to the appt, wasted my time waiting, and got no cut. An hour and a half of my time I won't be getting back. On to giving my business elsewhere. I tried to be understanding and accommodate her by agreeing to the later time and finding something to do nearby while I waited. I was then contacted again and told that the appointment was still taking longer than expected. At that point, I was told she could still take me, but she couldn't provide an estimated time of when she would actually be available. I understand that appointments can occasionally run over, but repeatedly changing the appointment time and then asking me to wait indefinitely was frustrating, especially after I had already traveled a long distance and made multiple accommodations. I ultimately decided that I couldn't continue waiting without knowing when my appointment would actually happen. I believe clients' time should be respected just as much as the stylist's, and better time management and communication would have made a big difference. I'm leaving this review in hopes that future clients have a more organized and reliable experience.
