Nadine guided us through an unusual purchase (though she would say that every real estate transaction is unusual...) and never lost patience. You'd expect a real estate professional to be knowledgeable about Boston's neighborhoods, and Nadine truly is. Beyond that, a few things really set her apart from the rest: 1. She has an intimate knowledge of buildings old and new-- she sees beyond cosmetics, she will inform you about hidden costs, and she's able to give sound, practical advice about what a property needs, what could be done with it, and what the work is likely to cost. 2. Her experience providing broker price opinions for banks gives her more insight about the market than other agents. 3. She listens. Anyone who has worked with an agent who doesn't listen (and there are a lot of them) will know how valuable this is.

You & the realestate team helped make this a professional, flawless, and stress-free experience for us. On top of my own excitement, this is Andrew's first home and I can't express how lovely this all feels. THANK YOU, THANK YOU! We start this whole new chapter in our lives completely ready/prepared for the next two weeks of home projects, then packing, then moving! (and here we go!) We all must celebrate once the dust settles. Until then, have a great day!

I recently purchased a home in Dorchester and the property was represented by Olde Towne…read more I originally met Susan at one of the open houses and she was extremely kind and informative on the property. I ran into her a few more times as I was a little indecisive in my home search. Either way, during the whole process, she was extremely helpful and willing to answer any questions that I had. After making an offer on the property, I figured I was done with Olde Towne other than through paperwork, but due to some issues with the builders that had constructed the house, the process was a bit drawn out. Through each consecutive inspection or walk-through, Doug was accommodating and available to not only open the property to me, but just to walk through and chat. With other properties I toured with other companies, I felt a lot of pressure and insincerity, but I did not feel that way working with Doug and Olde Towne. Whether it was frustration with the slow sale process, or just him trying to be a friendly guy, he took a hit on his commission to help the seller and I meet in the middle on the selling price. That is what solidified the deal. Once I moved into the neighborhood, Doug saw me from across the street and ran across to greet me and to ask all about how things were going for me. While it might not seem like a big deal, it was nice to have someone in the neighborhood make me feel welcome. I would heavily endorse Olde Towne to anyone looking to buy or sell a property, especially in the Dorchester area.

He was very attentive, personable, and took the time to carefully listen to what I needed, and then suggested a few units - he was right on. It was everything I wanted. I really felt like he took the time to really listen and shared his knowledge of the different available options. I had reached out a bit early and as soon as units became available, he took the initiative to follow up with me to schedule a time. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend him if you're looking for your next home! You want someone who cares, is knowledgeable and has your best interest in mind.

When we met…read moreKaren Stensrude at an open house and found out she had also recently moved from Seattle, we decided to sit down with her and see what kinds of help she could give us as a potential realtor. Karen is a bulldog on behalf of her clients. Buying a home is probably always a stressful and confusing affair, and buying our first house definitely was, but Karen made this probably as smooth and coordinated as it could be. She went out of her way to find us properties that she knew we would love, meeting with us at weird hours of the night when all of our schedules aligned. And, most importantly, she never made us once feel bad about it (although we still feel bad about that late night trip to Mattapan -- our bad!). What really made Karen stand out (and made me actually sit down to write a review) was her absolute dedication to her clients, a dedication that goes way beyond her responsibilities as a realtor. We closed on our house three weeks ago, and she continued to follow-up with us and pursue additional discounts that she may have found from the paperwork. But when she also found out about a really humiliating and discriminatory experience with a contractor who came into our home and made a number of homophobic and misogynist statements (we're a gay couple), Karen went way above and beyond, not because she saw it as her duty as a realtor but as a human being. Without prompting, Karen reached out to the corporate offices of the company who sent this contractor, pushing them to make this right and even helped to spread the word to other potential clients not to work with this company. She is, frankly, amazing, and we're really glad we managed to get the chance to work with her. I highly recommend her for anyone looking to buy a house or find an apartment.

Tommy and co are now responsible for showing the apartment that I am moving out of. Tommy and his team have made the process so painful. They don't communicate well or truthfully with me, the landlord, or the perspective tenants. Do not trust Bushari. Do not trust Tommy. They do not deserve your business, and I have told the landlord that he should not work with them either.
