I went into the E. Sprague shop this morning. Brian cut my hair, did an excellent job and I am ugly as sgit, but my hairs great! Thank you Brian! This barber was professional, hard working, talented, and an all around good guy! I'll be back! read more

I literally ran to this place at the tail end of the covid-19 pandemic with a hair crisis. I put 40 volume bleach in my hair for like 30(maybe 40 minutes). When I walked in out of breath and probably looking crazy I realized I was probably not their typical clientele - and was concerned I may need to present a man card and only had my debit and drivers license on me. Was told I didn't need an appointment and to have a seat and Amanda would be helping me. Not gonna lie, read reviews here and got myself in a nice and shitty mood before it was my turn and started off on the wrong foot with Amanda (all me). She didn't laugh at me, we laughed together at my ridiculous hair. Yep. She dropped an f-bomb (lol who the fuck actually says f-bomb? God spokane....)and I loved it. I almost cried when she made me look halfway human again. It's been a hard year for everyone, right? There are some stupid reviews on their page -- Amanda and her co-worker were hilarious and made me laugh when I really was feeling like crying -- and fuck -- I know thats not what "the man shop" is for, but Im incredibly grateful for her humor and her skill and for just being a nice person. I walked out of there feeling so much better and told myself I needed to share my experience and yeah I don't know who left the these salty reviews and specifically called out Amanda, but Im just so grateful none of those miserable people were there :-) Spokane doesn't suck. read more

The Man Shop - Barbers Near Me - Spokane, Washington

This place is trash, Glendowe drop outs that smell of cigarettes and chat loudly to each other while ignoring any direction you've given and just sort of half assing your cut read more

Jessica is out of town but I look like Greg Brady. The old Greg brady. Ie johnny Bravo. So I am writing a predestined review of how great my haircut will be. Jessica isn't working. I went into full freak out mode. But as mentioned above a i need a wig bust. I'm dope. I don't know who my barberette will be but I'm giving her a 5* rating. This is a porn free man shop which is nice. Farrah poster is the most you'll see and you have to strain your neck. Boy was I wrong. Ineptitude Johnson showed up. read more

The Man Shop - What I currently look like. - Barbers Near Me - Spokane, Washington

I went into the man shop because my regular was booked. I go into the guy and tell him to just take a lil off the top and fade the sides. My hair parts to the left side of my head, and you are supposed to FADE THE LONG HAIR INTO THE SIDE WHERE ITS SHORT AND BEING FADED. Instead he went under my hair and buzzed me up underneath the part of my hair that lays over. So now it just falls over the top and I look like I'm in a emo punk rocker. Thanks Man Shop read more

The Man Shop - WTF is this! - Barbers Near Me - Spokane, Washington

they used to be pretty good at giving hair cuts but the last several times I've gone there they always seem to not cut my hair right and the couple of times Ive found a good stylist they are moved to another place. it seems like now they are in such a huge hurry that quality has disappeared. Ive had to go back a few times to get my hair fixed and the last time I went just a few days ago the lady seemed pretty confident in her skills yet it turned out to be one of the worst hair cuts I've gotten from there. I won't be going back anymore. sad because I used to really like this place. read more

First off, it was a good haircut. If you are not super particular then it is a good deal for the price. Maybe she was annoyed that I wasn't wearing a mask or that I came in close to close but she kept interrupting me when I tried to explain what I wanted and in the end didn't do what I wanted. I asked for a little trim in the back she took 80% of it lol anyway I am one of those people that wants a unique haircut that nobody has seen before so maybe I should've gone to a high end shop meh not a bad salon read more

Looked online checked closing hours. 8pm. Looked at watch hurm its 6:30. Took shower because ICK after work hair is ewwww thought I would be nice. Walked in @ 7pm to an empty store and was told "Sorry we are closed" Well so is my wallet. Guess I got to get a cut before work somewhere else. read more

The staff is great to there customers when you walk into there establishment. They always tell you the wait time. I always leave looking great with a nice haircut. read more

I went to the one on Division & Frances. Atmosphere was fine, short wait period, but the lady doing the cut plainly did not care about giving a quality cut. It was done quickly, and sloppy. When I got home, my wife looked at me and literally said "you forgot to get a haircut". As the saying goes, 'You never get a 2nd chance at a first impression'. I will not go back. read more

Girl was friendly and talkative but the cut was a little blocky and uneven. Not the the best taper job. read more

Good place for a guy to get a haircut without an appointment and reasonable price. The girls here are usually very polite and efficient, but on certain days like Saturday and Monday are pretty busy. read more

I have found this to be a reliable spot for haircuts. I really like the full service package. Not every haircut has been amazing but all have been good. My kid loves the basketball court and popcorn machine. I would definately recommend this place if you want to pampered a bit more than what you will get at a supercuts..it is a cut above. read more

WOW! A haircut, neck shave, and shampoo for $18. Never ever have I had such a great deal. Annie took my disaster if hair and cleaned it all up. Made me look so much better and did it pretty quick. I wish this place was on my side of the state. read more

Pretty bad.. Tried the one on Pines twice. First time I saw the guys around me being pampered and my girl was unsocial and just barely there. Just okay haircut. Second time I went there and checked in. Saw people coming and going *45 mins later".. finally got up and asked the girl about my status. She looked at the book and says that she didn't check me in... I walked out!!! Not Again. read more

Worst service and worst hair cut I've ever paid for... I've gotten better hair cuts at Walmart salons ... These people really don't give a fuck or know how to cut hair. I asked for a hair cut and the lady had no idea what to do and just went at it... So pissed and she knew I didn't like it and still said well atleast it'll grow back.. Like really don't go here it sucks go take your money and spend it somewhere else you will just get your shit fucked up and if you are reading this lady who cut my hair today.. Screw you.. You suck at your job you should go do something else because it's obviously no your forte my hair looks like shit and I can't magically just grow it back that was like 7 months of growing it out just to get fucked up.. Fuck you and fuck this place people stay away! I'm telling you! read more

My husband continues to go this awful place to get his hair cut because of the price. And every time he comes he is pissed because the cut is awful. This time the girl cut his side burn off without even asking him and then told him "oops, well they grow back". UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! Do they just hire stupid bimbos off the street? Not only did they give him a hair cut that he was clearly angry about but then still charged him for it. read more

Went in to get a trim and shape up my hair. Told the lady I was trying to grow it out and she butchered it shaved it down to the skin. The girl was foul mouthed and seemed to be in a hurry to close even though they had a couple hours to go. I've been in several times but it's gone down hill read more

Come here every Thursday and I always have incredible service. Jessica is the one who cuts my hair weekly and she's awesome. I've had other girls cut my hair as well and I'm never disappointed. Also, really nice to be able to play pool if I have to wait. read more

No professionalism (even for a place that specializes in being a little edgy). The last time I went in, the young woman cutting my hair was friendly enough. Apparently my feigned interest clued her in that she could get a little more personal. Her favorite topics of conversation included racially classifying people groups (and using the slurs to match) and talking about drug use. It was extremely awkward for me--was I supposed to get up and walk out mid-haircut? I won't be back. read more

Went today for the first time. Love that you walk in and just wait for a chair to open up, no appointments needed. I lucked out and got Annie. First class scissor-cut from a gal who really knows her stuff. I'm now a fan, and will be willing to wait for her in particular. Half the price of Weldon and a better cut. I've found my new spot. read more

When I need a haircut and a smile I go see Annie. She is a haircut artist! Her eye for detail gets me a perfect cut each time. I just happened to drop in and now it is the ONLY place I go for a haircut. As far as the atmosphere, it is professional and fun. read more

So far so good. Been there twice. They haven't messed up my hair yet. The gals are nice and all seem to have a good sense of humor. Can't complain! read more

Helped me out on the spot to fix up a terrible haircut. Hard to say how good of a job they did considering that they had to start from a bad position. Still, What I ended up with was just mediocre. I feel like they could have done better. read more

For the price, it's hard to beat, at least downtown. I find the "Signature" cut an especially good deal: Get a haircut for $16, and you can get a neck and ears cleanup at no charge within 4 weeks. Just moved to Spokane and looked around for a good spot. I was impressed! Surprised by all the negative reviews. I'm typically pretty picky about my haircuts. But it was great! Neck shave with a straight razor was a nice touch. Felt great. read more

I've been getting my hair cut here for 2 or 3 years now, and they have never done me wrong. Granted, I don't have the most difficult cut request but the employees are friendly and consistently do a good job. read more

New Address is 2 W 3rd Ave. - 3rd and Division kitty corner from Dick's Drive In. Kirsty cut my hair today at the Man Shop - she was awesome and that makes it easy to recommend this place. Basic clipper cut is like 10 bucks and add a bucks if you need scissors. read more

Great haircut, great price, and Shayna is a rock star. Lots of man distractions if you have to wait. Clean and bright. Inviting atmosphere.

I used to go to the man shop downtown for a haircut about every 3 weeks and always left happy! I don't know what the deal is with the new stylists there, but the past two times I've gone I end up going somewhere else after to fix their crappy job. The stylists both times recently didn't seem to give a damn about what they were doing, or about anything for that matter. Not going back read more

While I get the image meaning selling "hot girls" and a racy environment - at the end of the day a guy wants a good haircut at a reasonable price. When you look at the menu, it's designed to up charge you, which is the mission of any business I suppose. However, after a couple visits the haircuts are simply not good. They want to race a clipper over your head as fast as possible and send you on your way. You want a quality cut - good old dependable on Monroe for $8. Not to be mean, but the girls come off as skanky - not sexy. Won't be back. read more

Horrible hair cut. To their defense I told her it was fine so she would stop. Went home and had to fix it myself.

I have had my hair cut there a couple of times. Nothing special. I don't think they are any better than one of the other chains that cut hair. read more

One lady doesn't know how to cut hair... everybody but her knows what a low fade is and she cut half my hair off.. thanks for ruining my hair! read more

I was a loyal customer for quite a few years. Today I walked in and they had a sign on the front door encouraging people to bring guns into the store. I have nothing against responsible gun owners, there are plenty of hunters in my family, but in my experience, people who feel the need to bring guns in for haircut probably shouldn't own guns. I won't be back. read more

Pretty cool setup but mediocre customer service. My barber was cool until she just went silent on me during conversation then handed me a towel and said "here". Also, no upselling skills, I usually get my hair washed. She never offered. read more

Freaking horrible... I pay money to get my haircut by a girl, just to have to come home and touch up and complete a clean cut on my own. The turnover rate on the girls who work here just represents the inconsistency of the service. My first time was a great haircut, second was bad, 3rd (giving them the benefit of the doubt) was bad, 4th was a never gonna return. read more

One of the few places that I've found that offers hot towel shaves, a wonderfully relaxing experience that I'd been meaning to try for some time. Even better is that they have free pool while you wait (useful if you come with a friend), a TV at every station, friendly service, competent haircuts and affordable prices. As the name clearly indicates, their services are catered towards men. read more
