I was raised in Saratoga so I kind of go off of the older name of The Saratoga Inn. Since I have…read morefamily nearby there isn't much need to get a room here or any other lodging business in town. But I do enjoy coming here for lunch. I usually go to the bar section of the place in which they have their own craft beer. The lunches are good and have hearty portions. And often my visits can have an exhaustive nature to them so escaping to this bar which is fairly quiet during the day for a pint is very nice. Getting a craft beer pint reminds me of where I live now where defaulted beer that everyone associates with beer drinking isn't the norm. It's been a while since I have had an evening meal here but I recently have had their breakfast buffet which is very nice. The food is nice and fresh and flavorful! Last year my father passed away and we did a private catering event in the dining room which was very nice. They got us in on very short notice and the event went quite smoothly. The organizer was extremely helpful and organized and laid out all the options for the event we were needing to do after the funeral. So that went quite smoothly. I am not sure when my next visit back will be but if it's a trip of a recreational and casual nature I will definitely stop by the bar for a pint of beer!

The restaurant had the feel of rustic but with the modern touch of high ceilings with the ductwork exposed. Our waitress was so nice, and the food we ordered was really good, all freshly made to order. My husband loved the beef medallions. The beer-battered onion rings and french fries were wonderful. We liked the place so much we opted to go there for breakfast the next morning. After a week of hotel breakfasts we were ready for real food. The eggs Benedict was perfect as were the hash browns. My husband's chicken fried steak was wonderful as well. Hat's off to the chef! If we lived here we would be coming back!

However, my drink (tea) took around ten minutes to be served. I think they had to brew more. My husband and I both ordered chicken fried steak and eggs. He had wheat toast and I had an English muffin. Our friend ordered pancakes. The chicken fried steak was tiny, and upon closer inspection, was clearly one chicken fried steak cut in half. The English muffin was served cold and not even cut in half on a warm plate. The pancakes looked like bricks. One of my husband's eggs was broken and cooked hard. The food tasted good, just not up to quality restaurant standards in my opinion.

The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which made the whole experience feel easy and comfortable. The food really stood out--everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The burgers were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor, and the sides were just as impressive. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. It's the kind of place that feels like a local favorite for a reason. Great food, good vibes, and a spot we'd definitely come back to the next time we're in town.

We showed up again the next day about 30 min before close and the staff was super nice and didn't make us feel rushed or like an inconvenience. The beer was ice cold, hot toddy's were customizable and delicious, and burgers were yummy and worth the return trip. I gave this a 4 star only because the sweet potato fries were oddly large, tasteless, and overcooked along with the chili which was incredibly dry and basically inedible. I'm thinking this was because of how late we showed up though so I won't hold that against them. The rest of our visit was amazing so we will definitely be back!

You can buy an entire pack of wings for the same size at Costco. This place claims that the wings are "large" to justify the expensive price, but the wings are just normal sized wings. The burger was so raw that I had that I could not eat most of it. The brussels sprouts were normal and nothing special. You can make them at home easily if you have a balsamic glaze. The ambiance is like a ski lodge almost.... They have tables to accommodate parties of any size. The service was okay, but we did not get checked on often so our water was low.

So so good. Also had the Maui wowie and it was a table favorite. So good. For the table, we got the Brussels sprouts and the Mac and cheese to share. Everyone loved the brussel sprouts! Highly recommend. I paired everything with the cab sauv and it was delicious. All together my total cost for burger, apps, drink was about $50/pp.
