Asked for a lime he slammed the fruit tray on the bar and had us grab it and was slamming the beers on the bar. We didn't even finish the drinks and left. The bartender glared at us through the window on the door. We definitely didn't feel welcome. Went to the keg up the street some and it was amazing!

We learned that dogs weren't allowed (indoor seating only and the patio was closed). As we were leaving patrons, who had finished their meal invited us to take their "shady spot" on the side of the building. It worked great. Pup stayed cool and we had a dynamite meal (pizza, wings and zucchin) and a beer. We couldn't have chosen a better venue for our daily meal.

The restaurant had the feel of rustic but with the modern touch of high ceilings with the ductwork exposed. Our waitress was so nice, and the food we ordered was really good, all freshly made to order. My husband loved the beef medallions. The beer-battered onion rings and french fries were wonderful. We liked the place so much we opted to go there for breakfast the next morning. After a week of hotel breakfasts we were ready for real food. The eggs Benedict was perfect as were the hash browns. My husband's chicken fried steak was wonderful as well. Hat's off to the chef! If we lived here we would be coming back!

However, my drink (tea) took around ten minutes to be served. I think they had to brew more. My husband and I both ordered chicken fried steak and eggs. He had wheat toast and I had an English muffin. Our friend ordered pancakes. The chicken fried steak was tiny, and upon closer inspection, was clearly one chicken fried steak cut in half. The English muffin was served cold and not even cut in half on a warm plate. The pancakes looked like bricks. One of my husband's eggs was broken and cooked hard. The food tasted good, just not up to quality restaurant standards in my opinion.
