Our family went tonight to see the magic of Bryan Saint, Scott Robinson (owner), Doc Docherty and Tiffany Allen and LOVED it! It is an intimate venue so everything feels up close and personal and you can really watch the magic - we repeatedly had our minds blown! This is not a cheesy show - this is the real deal! Bonus points that it's byob! We were lucky and got to participate in some of the tricks which added to the fun. Most people were there on date nights sans children but, like a few others, we brought our 10 and 13 year olds and they loved it. As long as they are old enough to appreciate more clever tricks than a rabbit out of a hat (think cards, coins, numbers) it will be great with the kiddos. It was charming --- the definition of a hidden gem. Highly recommend! read more

Saturday night my husband and I, along with his adult family went to a magic show at "The Magic Canvas" in Indian Land (Bridgemill). We, along with the entire audience, were in awe the entire show. From the MC who also preformed, the two openers, to the headliner magician and comedian, the tricks were varied, surprising and showed skill. Now, no one was cut in half but your jaw will still drop. The audience was involved in the tricks both individually and as groups. Remember the name "The Magic Canvas" because it will be the talk of the town. This would be a great date night, family in town event, or even get a bunch of gals or couples together for a night out. They suggest 13 and older because sometimes the audience will use shocking language because, well, the magic will amaze you. You can BYOB, get drinks from the coffee wine bar two doors down and even have dinner in the same shopping center. The Magic Canvas also transforms to a Sip and Paint, Kids Parties, Bridal Showers, and so much more. Just ask and I am sure they can handle it. Call and ask for Janet. She is an owner and the sweetest lady. I LOVE The Magic Canvas! Thank you to Janet and Scott for bringing magic (and really good magic I might add) to the area! I've been to a number of magic shows since they opened and I can't get enough. The paint nights are super fun and entertaining as well. If you haven't been yet, you need to visit (and bring a friend or two or ten)! They also do private events and parties for kids and adults.
