It looks like a ranch style home on the outside, and inside, it has a very big open floor plan. There is a bridal suite and a grooms suite as well. They have a full kitchen with an extra room connected that is filled with all types of decorations that you are allowed to use for your wedding or any event. They have an outside gazebo with an outside bar and firepit. They have plenty of photo op options with beautiful decor. We enjoyed the venue for our wedding (May 2023), and everything turned out beautiful. Kim & Chris definitely work with you on everything and anything to help make your day and the days leading to it run smoothly and easily. Communication was always great, and if I needed something quickly, they would accommodate me swiftly. Such a beautiful venue and exactly what we envisioned for our big day. From start to finish, communication was timely, clear, and professional. Having access to the event portal made everything seamless, from reviewing event details and contract guidelines to making payments and sending quick messages. Catering recommendations were provided and utilized, making this a true one-stop shop for all the services we needed. The event space itself is quaint yet ample enough to comfortably accommodate a decent guest count. We reserved the space for 70 people and still had plenty of room. On the day of the event, all we had to do was add gifts to the gift table and enjoy the celebration. After booking the venue tour over a week out, we received nothing from the venue (pricing packet, etc.) until we were on the way there. Once we arrived, no one was there to greet us and we had to walk around the venue searching for someone to host the tour, which other reviews have mentioned. After the conclusion of the tour, I was told the date I was interested in was available. Two days later, I contacted the venue and expressed my intention to pursue booking the date. After not hearing back for quite a few days, I called twice and was finally able to get in touch with the event director, who again verbally confirmed my date was available. After getting excited about having a date and moving forward, I received an email that there was a miscommunication and the date was indeed booked by someone else. I understand mistakes happen, but it should not have been confirmed without further review. On their behalf, they did offer a discount on an additional date. After we finally received the contract for our new date, we felt the need to add addendums to include facility maintenance due to the fact that lightbulbs were out over the ceremony space when we toured (with a wedding taking place in three days). Once we presented the addendums, the entire tone of the event director changed. They became very defensive, rude, and condescending. We toured plenty of venues that would be willing to bend over backwards to make your wedding day the best it can be. Seemed to be the total opposite here. It felt as though we were viewed as just another number and they wanted to be very hands off. In my opinion, be advised that you may struggle with communication, lack of professionalism and disorganization.

The…read moreupstairs of the home has been redone and renovated to be very feminine-- fresh white walls, individual vanities to get ready at, and plenty of space for day. The ballroom--- with no decor is absolutely stunning. High ceilings, large chandeliers, the walls lined with large windows and of course the black and white checkered flooring. Once we added in decor it was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. If you're getting married here add greenery to the chandeliers for a big WOW factor. The cocktail area outside it's lined with market lights and has fire pits-- the perfect place to entertain guests once you add one of the venues bars. And finally the ceremony space is covered-- which was perfect because it started to lightly rain at the beginning of our ceremony. It also has the market lights, the red brick steps, and a large beautiful white porch. There are lots of restrooms around the venue which was perfect for hosting a lot of people-- I've been to weddings where there were lines for the bathroom and no one likes that. The grooms quarters are perfect if you're a guy that loves poker, drinking, playing games, and relaxing. The grounds are kept very sharp and there are so many places to take pictures. Now-- Amy Plyler is the venue event planner and also who we chose to be our wedding planner--- you have the option to choose an external coordinator but you would be silly to because there are so many perks to hiring Amy and her assistant Jannah. They are an amazing team and made sure everything ran perfectly the day of. I had the most beautiful wedding and I did not stress at all day of because I put my trust in them. When it rained-- they quickly pivoted. They remembered all of my small details and arranged all of our decor perfectly. Even things I thought I'd forget or didn't think about they were there to help. They also have a lot of things you can use at the venue which saves you from spending extra money. They are simply the best and I am honestly sad I don't have reason to talk to them on a regular basis now but I will certainly keep in touch. Have your wedding here. I am writing this to inform fellow brides what I wished I had known. Do not work with Kate Clyde's…read more At first it started great, Kate Clyde's was good with communication and worked with us with what we wanted. When I first started calling caterers to get quotes I was very clear I wanted a plated dinner and my venue did not have a full kitchen. Kate Clyde's informed me that they had worked at my venue before and were able to provide a delicious dinner without a full kitchen. We agreed to do a food tasting and were impressed by the food and staff so we paid the deposit that night. Our experience plummeted from there. Kate Clyde's stopped communication after receiving the deposit. I tried to relax but after weeks of unanswered emails I sent an email if I should find another caterer. Misty the event manager told me all her emails were going to my junk email. That was a lie. I am very type A and check my junk email and received none. Anyways, I was reassured it would be fine and then was sent an invoice $14,000 dollars over what we initially agreed. I quickly called Misty to figure out what had happened and without her checking she basically told me that it was correct and I should pay it. I spent my entire afternoon going through the invoice and found that she tried to charge me $850 per napkin instead of .85 cents. You would think they would double check their invoices before they went out. The food was so good at the tasting and at this point it was so late in the game that after I pointed out where she went wrong I paid the updated invoice. Then again months went on with no communication. Fast forward to two weeks before the wedding. As any bride knows that's when most payments are due. I tried to be on top of all payments so I sent in the numbers to food items and emailed a couple of questions. Again, no answer. I emailed a couple of times for no response. Three days before the wedding, I got multiple frantic calls from Misty asking questions that could have been answered months ago. It's as if she knew nothing that we had discussed. I also asked multiple times about the staff that would be present at the wedding and she reassured me two bartenders would be there. The wedding day...what an absolute disaster...I am completely mortified about what went on and what my guests were served. First of all, only one bartender was present the first half of the wedding- even though I was contracted for two. I was also promised two people to set up my tables who were "extremely detailed oriented" not the case at all. The place settings were all over the place and couples weren't even seated together. The food was completely INEDIBLE. My sister had to demand the stopped serving one appetizer before guests got sick!! I could cry even thinking this happened. Multiple guests spit out their food and quoted or smelt "rancid." My son, who eats anything, spit out the mac and cheese bites because they were cold and "gooey". They tried to serve a shrimp appetizer that was fishy and inedible. A bridesmaid spit it out into a Lysol wipe. The dinner was just as bad. The first thing I said to my new husband was "is you food cold?" My beef tenderloin was cold! The brides food was inedible. The salmon was over cooked and dry. Not to mention I was told there would be ten servers for twelve tables. It took over forty minutes for food to get out. I could go on for days. It was awful. Worst experience. Brides beware. One more thing, we later found out that vendors had gone out and gotten their own dinners because they've worked with Kate Clyde's before and knew the food was awful

If you are thinking of using this company for wedding tents....don't. We rented a $2,000 tent for…read morean outdoor wedding where the weather forecast called for constant rain. First, the tent had holes all throughout and so we had to provide the duct tape to try to tape the holes. The companies response was "the rain will just roll off the sides", along with "this is just the time that people get stressed out about the event"...as if either of these statements were going to keep the guest dry. The rain, in fact, did not roll off the sides and the tent leaked raindrops onto the guest and decor all night. Also, the tent was put up in such a way that there were areas lose enough to collect water. So, throughout the day the water had to be constantly dumped from the roof as not to collapse the tent. With the sides, Not all sides of the tent had holes to stake into the ground. Lastly, it was put up and left with a ton of mildew that my mom was trying to clean herself. After contacting the company, they did send someone out to clean the tent. However, he was rude and acted extremely irritated that he had to come out and do this.

The flowers themselves were beautiful, but they were arranged so poorly that they were falling out of the vase by the time they reached my wife. The accent flowers and greenery were falling out and after only a couple of hours the arrangement was a mess. My wife and I both called the florists and were given some story about how the flowers were delivered in perfect condition but the Security guard may have tampered with the flowers. The funny thing about a security desk is that they have cameras. There was no evidence of tampering. They were just poorly put together. The owner did not make any effort to replace the arrangement or refund my money. I try to buy from local businesses for quality, and obviously was willing to pay a little extra for that quality. But that is not what I got this time. Overall Product- Poor Customer service - Poor Pricing - Poor Save yourself the headache and find another business or vendor to send your loved ones flowers.
