We met with several photographers before meeting with Sini and immediately knowing she was the perfect fit! The day of the wedding, we barely noticed her and her assistant as they captured beautiful, honest, candid photos of us and our friends and families. They were sweet, sincere (not posed), intimate, FUNNY. The vast majority of our photos were taken without us noticing or having to participate, allowing us to stay in the moment and relish in the magic of the day. I worked in the wedding industry for 12 years as a DJ and have attended over 500 weddings, so the last thing I wanted was to participate in staged photos. That said, we did do a 15-20 minute photoshoot during cocktail hour where Sini was fully capable of playing with us (and our elderly dog), offering direction when needed, and somehow managing to keep this portion free flowing and fun. She is absolutely amazing, has incredible patience and really goes the extra mile to make sure you are happy with the pictures and her work. She even got my cousin (the ring bearer) to smile for photos and he doesnt smile for his own mother! I think her prices are very reasonable we actually got a discount recently on our maternity/newborn photos because I used her for my wedding (she offers a bellies to babies package that I highly recommend). She explained as long as I keep using her she offers discounts! I remember for my wedding she made sure that I got all of the pictures and different poses I wanted (plus some really cool ideas I didnt even think of!) and recently for our maternity shoot I printed out a bunch of pics off of Pinterest of different maternity poses I liked and she made sure to get them ALL before we were done. She made me feel so comfortable 9+ months pregnant and the pics she took turned out absolutely beautiful!! She also has a makeup artist that she hires out if you request it and she did my makeup and hair in the studio for the maternity shoot which I thought was very reasonably priced and convenient. Bottom line I highly recommend Stephanie and I cannot wait to have her take photos of our baby when she is a newborn!!

One of the reasons we wanted to hire Ksenia in the first place was that her prices were almost bizarrely affordable in contrast to anyone else we looked at. Once we saw her portfolio, we were sold. She is very nice and friendly and seemed sincerely enthusiastic about the whole thing, which is nice because it helped things feel even more special. The only thing that I would say is that I wish I had been more direct with telling her what I wanted because there were a few shots I would have liked to get in and didn't ask for them because I was too overwhelmed with the day. I am sure she would have accommodated whatever I wanted. But that's more about me than anything else I LOVE my photographs and there are so many of them. When your biggest issue is which ones to pick for prints, it's definitely a good thing.

While researching photographers, we wanted some one reasonably priced, but quality too! We emailed back and forth through numerous messages, and then met in person to discuss the vision for the wedding day. It was obvious that Ksenia was no novice. I was slightly concerned that on her website there were no African American couples, and maybe that would prove to be an issue. But after speaking with her, seeing her albums, and get a sense of her shooting style, we decided to go for it. BOY, ARE WE GLAD WE DID!! Ksenia was a complete professional, and took AMAZING shots of our day! She captured the emotion, excitement, happiness, and fun the day incorporated... but most importantly she captured the LOVE! I was at easy and not self conscious at all, she help guide posing and would just snap when there was something natural flowing that worked for a photo. I was not impressed with the editing done for final product of the book we received (not sure who did editing). Over all I was satisfied and my husband loved the photos which is all that truly matters; just being a photography student I have my own ideas on editing so I just wasn't as pleased as I was hoping to be. There were some duplicate photos in the book that only the color was changed or photo cropped slightly to tighten the frame. Some blemishes were not edited out as requested (including printing on the bottom of the shoes I wore that was visible in several photos and just not attractive to look at). I fully understand artistic preference and creative differences but again some photos selected for final product were not included, others where just duplicates, specific editing requests were ignores (which just came across lazy and not wanting to do it). I fully enjoyed the experience and my husband loved (still does) the photos but it was not perfect. But if you are wanting to do a shoot I highly recommend it! (Even elsewhere). It can be just what you need to give yourself a good confidence boost and just realize how amazingly beautiful you are!

I went to check out the studio and browse the outfits before I scheduled a shoot. I found out the books start at $249, however they have a mini accordion for $99. Cherish was so great beforehand, at the shoot, and was so patient while I decided what pictures I wanted. Cherish took over 200 pictures of me and surprisingly a lot of them came out fantastic. I loved them before they were even edited. I was super self conscious since I've gained weight but she made me look great. I would definitely do this again and I recommend going through her. Unless you want a book I would get the $29 living social deal. It was worth every penny.

Instead she gave me grainy garbage and the runaround. She finally gave me what she owed me, a MONTH later and after the hassle of a lifetime. In the end they weren't even very good quality, but you get what you pay for.
