Marcy is phenomenal. I can't recommend her enough. She has great business skills and is just so much fun to be around. She is responsive to emails and has great suggestions for coordinating outfits, locations, timing, etc. She is a true professional. I hired her for a family photo shoot of 14 adults and 3 children. She was early to the park and was calm and helpful while we were trying to organize everyone (herding cats would have been easier). She introduced herself to the group and made everyone feel comfortable with their photo being taken immediately. She came prepared with chairs for the group photo as well as other photo shoot essentials. After asking permission from their mom, she successfully bribed my cousin's kids to sit still and smile for photos with candy. At one time the candy wasn't enough, so she made silly, age-appropriate jokes from behind the camera to get the kids to laugh. She is quick thinking and personable. The photos are stunning. She was able to capture the silliness and the love we have for each other. I have spent so much time looking at them and talking to my family about them. Everyone is thrilled with how they turned out. She also has tips on how to print and preserve your photos. At the end of the day, it is so obvious that Marcy loves her job. Marcy has fantastic energy and makes the whole process fun. The results were astounding! My wife and I have used a few photographers before for things like engagement pictures, etc. The pictures were fairly good but my one biggest complaint was, like any guy, I find a photo shoot to be like having a root canal. Amazing!! Marcy is amazing we had the privilege to have her take some photos of us (wife, myself and my 2 boxer dogs- lola and dina). Now my wife and i aren't big picture people but All I can say is wow, the pictures were amazing but her way of making you comfortable and taking th pictures is amazing. One of the aspects of taking pictures I have experienced in the past is the awkwardness and being uncomfortable while taking pictures but Marcy makes it so pleasant to take the pictures you don't even realize it. She also must have a gift with pets because our pets actually posed for the pictures. (Crazy right?) I also enjoyed taking the pictures which is rare..ask my wife.. Awesome photos by Marcy Browe ! ! While on vacation in Oceanside CA we decided to make our East Coast friends, suffering the cold weather, jealous of our vacation. We contacted Browe Photography to capture the beautiful beach, wonderful weather and the fun we were having on our stay in Oceanside. Marcy suggested a photo shoot at the Oceanside Pier might be just what we needed. She was sooo right. She offered lots of ideas for various shots, making us feel very much at ease; even our dog enjoyed getting in a few of the pictures. We loved the results... and so did our friends back home. We then decided to use one of the pictures for our Christmas card this year. The only problem was there were so many good shots from which to choose. Marcy helped us with that too, even arranging for the printing of our cards. We hope to get back to Oceanside again real soon. In the meantime, we can look back at the photos Marcy took and almost feel the sunshine, hear the ocean, and remember the great time we had. I am typically not very comfortable in front of a camera, but my photo shoot with Marcy changed all that for the better. During our headshot session, she gave me so much helpful, detailed advice about how to pose, where to stand for the best light, and what kinds of facial expressions she wanted from me that I felt entirely supported and guided throughout the process. If only I could hire her to stand by my side in social situations to coach me on how to look and act my best! Marcy took a ton of photographs during the shoot but managed to keep it moving right along at a good clip so that I didn't get tired out. She also kept up a light stream of encouraging comments that were just enough to distract me from my shyness without feeling heavy-handed or fake. She has the nicest "bedside manner" of any photographer I've ever been in front of, and I don't want to work with anyone else besides her in the future.
