You may want to consider…read moreusing Hold My Luggage's luggage concierge where you can book your reservation online or at the kiosk. Located at an outdoor kiosk at the main entrance of Bayside Marketplace, you can conveniently drop your luggage off while you shop, grab something to eat or go on any of the tours within walking distance. It's also a few miles away from the Port of Miami. Being able to walk around Bayside with our luggage was so convenient. It was a good way for us to kill some time after our cruise and before our flight. Pro tip: Ask your Uber or Lyft driver to drop you off at the main entrance of Bayside Marketplace to find Hold My Luggage (across from Starbucks).

I needed somewhere to store my luggage before heading out to the airport. It was a little hard to find from the google map, but it's towards the back of the second floor of the marketplace. The storage is actually just a small part of a luggage store that is at the end. The lady that worked there was one of the nicest in the planet it was really reassuring given our anxiety about the safety of the luggage. I think this is the perfect place to leave luggage and it was really inexpensive. I would use it again in a heartbeat.

Traffic in Miami can be busy and something a few miles away could take 20 minutes to travel to so choose your stops wisely. We started the trip at the bayside shopping area. The salesman explained each stop so we had a plan before getting on the bus. The buses were packed and we had to sit downstairs with no air conditioning to go to the first stop. Luckily it only took about 10 minutes. We got off by the beach and enjoyed walking along the boardwalk then spending a half hour on the beach before finishing our walk to the second stop. They say the buses come every 30 minutes and we always seemed to wait 15 or 20 minutes before the bus came. Stops were easy to find with little red signs. We then took the bus to little Havana and enjoyed lunch there. It was fun to drive by the other locations but with the timing we did not have enough time to get off and explore to be in the right area around lunch. They give you headsets that let you listen to facts and information about Miami. Overall the experience is what you make it.

Our entire family became sick after eating on board, including our 3-year-old child, who suffered from vomiting and diarrhea. We were all affected and it completely ruined our vacation. What was even more shocking was the lack of basic medications available on the ship. A visit to the ship's doctor costs around $400, and there is no guarantee that you will receive medication that actually helps. On top of that, any medication provided may come with an additional charge. For a cruise company that carries thousands of passengers, this level of medical support is unacceptable. We are extremely disappointed with our experience.

So you booked the cruise eh? Think that's it? It's not. Read the fine print. They will uncharge you to almost double the price of the cruise itself. Excursions are insanely overpriced, book them from the vendor directly. Make sure you know you'll be charged $18.50+ a day for gratuity PER PERSON. You can cancel this on the cruise itself, but be warned, they'll screw you and the line for customer service will wrap around the ship. Now, that's all disclosed, and it's my fault for not reading it. So I want to just warn you all, cancel automatic gratuity as soon as you board. Leave tips. Carry cash. If you do a dining experience PLEASE tip them. Those people are great. But don't this is predatory cruise line steal your money. Why am I so angry with them? Let me tell you. We booked a cruise that was called "THE HUBBARD GLACIER CRUISE". It was an alaska cruise. We paid extra for a large balcony room to see a glacier. Guess what we DIDN'T see? Yeah, the Hubbard Glacier. Now you may ask, why not? Good question. ONE day prior to boarding we were told that our final port would NOT be Seward, but instead Whittier. We pre-paid for a train ride from Seward to Anchorage that promised beautiful views on a 4 hour train ride. The ride from Whittier to Anchorage? 90 minutes and so so. Refund? $50 on a $400 train ride. That's it. We find out the destination changed due to port construction in Seward. Construction that had been ongoing for a while and didn't complete until 3 weeks after our cruise, so it was known WELL in advance that it wouldn't be ready, but they wait until the day before to let us know. At that point, it's too late to change our transportation, and in Whittier a cab, uber, rental car, etc. doesn't event exist. So they know they own you. They don't care. On to the Glacier Viewing. The second to last day was supposed to be the Hubbard Glacier. A place realistically only viewable from a ship. The reason we ALL booked this cruise. On day 5, after we ALL got back on the ship after docking in Skagway, the Captain comes on and tells us that due to the new docking in Whittier (again, known well in advance), we would have to skip the Glacier and sail all day and night right into Whittier. So you are telling me that we knew we were going to Whittier a day before the cruise left, but we didn't know until the night prior there were restrictions on when we could access the dock and time management was now a problem? Needless to say the ship nearly broke out into riots and the line for customer service was front to back for the rest of the cruise. If this was weather, mechanical, whatever, I get it. It would suck, but I'd get it. I work in the transportation industry and sometimes you just get bad luck. This, however, was lying and preventable. They stole from ALL of us. Now, that aside, the food was terrible, and our "junior suite" cabin creaked and popped the whole time so loudly we could barely sleep and thought it would probably sink. The view from our balcony was of lifeboats and their support hoists. Their apology was an embarrassing room credit. That's it. Why didn't they cancel Skagway and go to the glacier? Well, they sold a ton of excursions in Skagway they'd have to refund. Floating around a Glacier that makes them no money is the much better option to cancel. I contact customer service multiple times for a more reasonable compensation. I couldn't have been told to F--K Off more times than they did. Nothing. No care or concern in the world. I will NEVER use Royal Caribbean again and I wish nothing but the worst upon them. One thing I will say, their staff on the boat are the nicest people ever. They were the only saving grace of this piece of s--t cruise line. You won't have a single complaint about the staff. Ever. But you WILL make a Royal Caribbean Voodoo doll when you get off that old a$$ beat to hell boat with garbage food. Don't say I didn't warn you. use Virgin Voyages, by far the superior cruise line.

My only small wish is that the pool area stayed open a little bit later in the evening, but besides that minor detail, I've never had a single issue here. Highly recommended!

We would stay here again. Pricing: We paid $1,038.56 for three nights, or $346.19 per night after various taxes and fees. We came for a wedding and got a group block rate of $269.00 per night before taxes and fees. Wedding Experience: This hotel sits directly on the bay and is adjacent to the Venetian Marina & Yacht Club dock. We attended an Indian wedding here and participated in a baraat (the groom's procession). The groom arrived via boat, which was cool. The ceremony took place outside on the Bayview Terrace. The backdrop was beautiful; very Miami. Lunch in one of the ballrooms was catered by the hotel's sous chef, who is Indian. The Indian food was outstanding, and I made sure to give the chef my compliments in person. The Room: Our room was a "Bayview Queen." It had two queen beds. It was just my wife and me. The room was clean, comfortable, updated, and modern. I appreciated that even though the bathroom had only one sink, there was a decent amount of surface space for our toiletries. Other Notes: We got an $18 daily dining credit, but never used it. It would be nice if the credit was applicable to gift shop purchases (e.g., bottles of water, snacks), but it's not. I relied on the cheap in-room coffee. Not terrible for cheap in-room coffee. The elevators were nice and fast. This hotel has 31 floors.

While we arrived at an agreement, it soon happened again, and I let the manager know. *Crickets* Very surface level. They are friendly and use many words, 0 actions. You will only start to notice after you have a problem that takes more than 1 second to resolve. I was here for months and months before I noticed their pattern. Do not want to work. It's like, 'yes, I wish that for you too, that you could retire'; unfortunately I do need the services that I'm paying for to be completed. It's not cheap here. These folks would be in for a shock if they tried to work elsewhere (e.g. New York or even developing countries I've visited). They would not make it. Nothing happens unless you prompt it: "ok you've noted the issue, but you're not gonna be here tomorrow. So are you going to let someone else know?" Staff: "oh ok I'll tell such and such" 0 follow-through. They'll tell you that "they have a meeting right now" and will do such and such to address your problem after. *Crickets*. Then next they see you, they'll try to avoid you. It'd be taken as disrespectful, if not for that it's so overt that it's comical. Also lol, you don't need to avoid me; I'm not going to chase you to do your job. I wish I could say it was just a single individual. The staff have friendly personalities; I would be friends with all.
