Nice place…read more Extensive Tapas menu and not too pricey. I am reviewing this from a vegan perspective, though, so a majority of the menu is not applicable so I cannot comment on it. However, there is a fair range of menu items that are vegan suitable (much more than most restaurants, especially in Warrington). There were also plenty of menu items that could be 'veganized' upon request. The food was delicious and I certainly ate more than I should have! The really great thing about this place, for me anyway, was the service. Our waiter was very accomodating of my strange requests of vegan foods that couldn't be spicy or contain a host of other things that does my IBS no good. He (and the chefs, of course) went the extra mile(s) to make sure that I had a decent meal and an enjoyable time, which meant alot to me. Aswell as dining here, I have worked as a photographer for a local soul singer. Again, I found the staff very polite and conscientious, trying not to walk infront of me when I was about to take a shot. I, of course, told them not to worry about that. After dining closes (at around 10pm, I think), the bar stays open and the place turns into a bar lounge of sorts. Although this is not my usual 'night out' choice, I have to say that the atmosphere was most pleasant. Everyone just out for a good time and not even the threat of any trouble (which is unusual for Warrington). The aforementioned soul singer, by the name of Sebastian, has a regular slot at Mojo's. He performs during the latter hours of dining and stays until around midnight. He is always very well received and adds a great vibe to the place, as you would expect a chilled out soul singer to!

I'm afraid that after my visit last night I've had to add comments to my review…read more We took friends on my recommendation for a chilled out meal after a long weekend away expecting a nice chilled out eating experience. I like the idea of tapas because you spend an hour or so eating nibbles as and when they come out. We ordered 13 dishes between for of us expecting them to come out a few at a time when there where ready, nibble, nut, olive first then some of the quicker meals then the rest. Expecting to wait only a few minutes for the first dishes butting us on till some of the others came out. This didn't happen. the Restaurant was only at about 20% capacity and we gave our order and waited at least an hour for the food which all came out together with temperature varying from cold to just warm. I think the chef had been making them as and when and the serving staff fetched them all out when the last one was done. We complained about the cold dishes and was told they'd be replaced. 20 minutes after finishing the other dishes the replacements had not arrived. I told the waiter to forget it. I was thinking maybe they just messed up that night but looking at some other reviews it seems like a trend. None of the food I had was particularly nice. All just basic stuff not that well done. I really do not think I'l be returning. God knows what it'd be like on a busy night. I dread to think. PREVIOUS REVIEW This place was on my hit list for a while but didn't manage to get there. Then a few weeks ago I managed to get there 3 times in a week. I'm afraid that they mainly ended in a champagne haze of merryment so I can't really coment on the finer details or even the cost situation. I do know that I enjoyed each visit and the food, atmosphere and bubbly was good. It did empty my pockets of all the cash I took each time. Next time I go I shall try to be more restrained. It's a good place to go for a celebration and on the Friday we went it had good music playing and a party atmosphere. They have plenty of pricing offers on during the week. This is the only bar with a late licence in Stockton Heath, people tell me they have a licence…read moreuntil 2am but in my experience they throw out around 1am. The bar has two floors, the first with a large dancefloor and seating around the edge and the second is more of a balcony circling the downstairs dancefloor meaning the men tend to gather and stare down at the girls dancing below! There are bars on both floors, the queue at the bottom bar can be 3/4 people deep on a weekend night so I would recommend going upstairs to be served quicker. There are always long queues for the girls toilets. They play a mix of music, in fact it can be quite strange with the dj jumping from dance to rnb then throwing a 70s track in randomly, people seem to love it though, it's always busy and the dancefloor is rarely empty. It isn't my ideal bar but places in Warrington are limited and in my opinion this is one of the better options.

It's the only place open after 12 but it is still reasonably priced to get in and the décor is very stylish. Drinks are as expensive as you would expect in a club and it depends on what you have, but the service is also friendly and relatively quick considering how busy it gets. The music is good to have a dance to and the atmosphere is really great making sure that you can finish your night out by dancing the night away!

I seem to becoming a bit of a Warrington yelper!…read more So we visited Toms 101 bar & grill last weekend in stockton Heath, I'm really liking this village. Toms 101 Bar & Grill is a modern restaurant catering throughout the day, they offer afternoon tea, evening meals, Sunday roasts (sounded really good!) & you don't have to have savoury you can just go for dessert! They also do a "late lounge" cocktails, wine, lots of fizz and live music. I had the scallops for starters & the lobster Roll for my main, my partner had the classic burger - it was nice and I would visit again but seemed pricey, from looking at the menu they do have offers on throughout the day and Sunday's we just went at the wrong time! A great place to visit though if you want a relaxing meal, some English cuisine, followed by the pleasure of live music afterwards, family friendly too :-)

Their expansive drinks menu includes a huge selection of wines from over 60 bins, making it the perfect place for the wine buff. With their well-oiled kitchen team they provide excellent food at a decent pace, as your food never takes too long to arrive. It might also be worth remembering they serve a mind bogglingly good sticky toffee pudding. Despite having a tendency to hire staff for looks rather than brains, the front of house team are usually very capable. Its classy interior and open plan table arrangement means that the atmosphere is always good whether it's full or nearly empty.
