This is a welcoming pub that holds a number of themed events, and encourages local participation such as voting for your favourite ale to make a comeback.
I visited this pub on St. Patricks Day for dinner, where they were having a Irish themed pub quiz later that evening and were playing Irish music in the background whilst we ate.
There are comfortable sofa's that you sink right into, and booth areas for a more cosy feel.
The menu is varied and they have a number deals throughtout the week such as a Grill night with a meal and drink from £5.99. I ordered the ribeye steak (meduim, rare) so was disappointed when it arrived well done but netherless it was tasty. The potato wedges were very tasty as were the onion rings and not greasy like onion rings can tend to be.
There is ample parking on site, and an outdoor seating area which is welcomed in the Summer months.
Pay this pub a visit you will not be disappointed. read more
