First time visiting. Stopped here on the way to Garden of the Gods. Arrived around 11:00 on a Monday in September. Little busy, one person in line. While waiting for food the line got longer. Seems like a hot spot for locals. Food: We got 2 breakfast bagels (The OG and Pesto) and a coffee. Best bagels I've ever had! You can taste the freshness, baked daily. Bagels were filled with good amount of toppings. I Recommend the rosemary sea salt bagel. Service: Excellent. Ambiance: Hip vibe. 5 stars (for a coffee spot). Came in early morning to grab coffees for a road trip. Specialty coffees -- I got two: a huckleberry and a coconut. Both go in my top 20 coffees of all time. The flavor profiles weren't too sweet but were plenty flavorful -- you could actually taste the coconut in one and the huckleberry in the other. Everything came together really nicely. It's a walk-up counter with some seating inside, though most of the tables were full when we came through. They have pastries and other things we didn't try. Service was quick and friendly, and the cost wasn't bad at all. If you're looking for specialty coffee in Manitou Springs, I'd hit up The Loft. Would recommend, and would return. read more

I had some friends visiting this weekend and after walking around manitou, we had some time to spare before going to the airport so we stopped for a little pick me up. I got a matcha latte and added pistachio to it - so good! They have many different flavors you can add to any drink that you choose so there's a lot of different variations you could do! We also got the bread pudding as a little treat. It was vegan - and I'm not a vegan but it was really good. They have other vegan options there which is nice for anyone with dietary restrictions. I thought I should note that I went here one time before and got a bagel sandwich which was super good! I forgot to take a picture that time but thought it was worth noting that they had good breakfast and bagels. I would definitely go back for breakfast when I'm in the area again! read more

This is a coffee shop we will be back to soon. There was tons of personality everywhere from the phone booth that tells stories to the telescope that points to the incline. While we just got a late, we heard the food is pretty good too and it seemed like a good price as well. There are comfy varied seats everywhere including a large wood slab table that may be a community table. The staff was friendly and even though it was busy, we found a spot right away. I've walked by it a few times but never really noticed it before this past weekend. I was hanging out with my best friend and she chose The Loft for breakfast. We lined up with a few other locals, enjoying a beautiful morning together waiting for the doors to open. By the time it opened, there was 10 or 12 people excitedly waiting. As we walked in, we really loved the vibe of the place and the great smells coming from the kitchen and the coffee bar. I ordered a green chili cheddar bagel with plain cream cheese and a Coronado. Stopped here after walking around in Manitou Springs for some coffee. Noticed that they make fresh bagels and we just had to try. I had the Rosemary Sea Salt and it was delicious. My SO and I loved this place so much we came back the next day for coffee and bagel breakfast sandwiches. I had the Farmhouse and my SO had the Lucy in the Sky. Food was quick and we LOVED our meals. The bagels are so fresh and we liked the different flavor options. If we were locals I know we would be here all the time. Perfect vibe for a meal with a friend or to get some work done. Wow, so impressed with this spot. While incredibly busy (Line was out the door), it felt indicative of something worth experiencing. I got a drip coffee and an AMAZING rosemary sea salt bagel with cream cheese. The bagel was perfectly salty chewy and crispy. It was so good. I didn't know that Manitou had a spot like this, and I was so impressed. While quirky and unique, you can tell this is a local favorite. Stopped by for a breakfast. Ordered pesto bagel . Wanted to try but in my opinion pesto just didn't go well with the rest of that sandwich. It was conflicting. Lemonade was excellent. Definitely a popular spot, around lunch it's packed with the Manitou high schoolers. I can see why though, it's a pretty hearty and tasty sandwich. It's a great place to sit and hang out for a while, fun decorations, good seating options, and it was quiet enough to have a conversation. What a fantastic breakfast/coffee spot! Amazing bagel sandwiches and fresh baked pastries. If I go back, I'll try the breakfast burrito. I had the Larry David open-faced bagel with lox, it was delicious, came with plenty of pickled red onion and tomatoes. We got one of each fresh donut, I LOVED the pistachio rose one best. This place was a 100/10. The staff was very friendly and answered all our questions since it was our first time there. The food and drinks were absolutely amazing. I got a dirty chai and wow it was so good. The lemonades were also very refreshing. We ordered breakfast burritos and the turkey bacon bagel, every flavor was spot on. The burritos tasted homemade with love. I would love to visit again and try more of their menu. We loved watching the guys make the bagels in the back. The decor was homey and it was a nice atmosphere from walking around town outside. Would highly recommend this place. Bagels were excellent. We stayed the night in this cute little town and before we visited Pikes Peak we stopped in at Loft. We had already had a drink so just opted for bagels and we got an assortment. They were so good and tasty and did not disappoint. The cool vibe of this coffee shop fit in with the area. The plants added a nice hippie touch and the array of seatung was just right. They offered coliring books and general books to browse or read for the children and adults. I would have loved to have stayed longer but we were onky here for a day. A must try if ever in the area. read more

Awesome breakfast or lunch option in Manitou Springs. it was pretty bustling on a weekday, and there is a fair amount of seating inside and a couple outside tables. You order at the counter - they'll call out your drinks, and bring your food to the table if you're eating there. they ask you to bus your own table on your way out, which was no problem. The menu is pretty varied, with mostly variations on bagel sandwiches, but lots of different topping options. They had about six flavors of bagel to choose from, some that were pretty basic (like everything and sesame) and some that were more unique like green chili cheddar and cracked pepper provolone. I got the sunrise bahn mi sandwich on a rosemary sea salt bagel. It was tasty although the provolone the sandwich felt a little bit unusual. I think it might've been better with cream cheese. Being from the East Coast, I have to say the bagel wasn't the same, but was still delicious. I also got an iced Americano That was pretty good. I would come back here! read more

What an adorable gem in Manitou! The Loft is cute, quaint, homey and delicious! We live in Denver and have stopped at several places in manitou over the years, but the loft is our favorite by far. First, it's a cute and funky atmosphere with lots of local art and eclectic pieces. Second, every staff member is incredibly kind and welcoming. Third, the food is amazing. I would 10/10 travel here from Denver just for this food. The bagels are supposed to be the best, but we got there about an hour and a half before closing, so they were out. (But honestly, I'm happy to know they are made FRESH, and the croissant was just as delicious. So this was not a problem at all!!) I tried the Larry David and it was flavorful and unique. My husband tried the classic breakfast sandwich and it was delicious as well! The highlight is the pastries. I had a blueberry lemon turnover, while my husband had a strawberry sugar donut. Both of these pastries were far better than many of the bakeries in Denver city center. We were blown away with everything we tried, and will be back again soon. read more

Walking into Loft Espresso you are met with a colorful, cozy atmosphere. There are lights, unique art and murals everywhere! The barista was super sweet and had some great recommendations. I ended up ordering a matcha latte with the house black raspberry syrup, and one of their blackberry turnovers (warmed). Everything was delicious! I think I lucked out with timing as it wasn't very busy inside. Definitely worth a stop if you're needing a refreshing drink walking in Manitou! read more
