All have been amazing, and can only heap praise upon them. Having so many paintings I did ask around in Atlanta for an added restorer, and was given the name of Avery Gallery. Perhaps the first giveaway was that they charged $175.00 for the trip to my home in central Midtown Atlanta. They are based in Marietta. No art restorer in the World has ever levied this charge to me before. After having two small paintings for several months I did receive a call that they were ready. The paintings have been in my family's possession for hundreds of years and were quite frankly filthy from years of being subjected to European pollution. Thus the actual condition of the canvas and or copper plate (of one of them) was not known, or obviously apparent. Reading the banner advertisement of Avery Gallery it clearly states that they are a gallery, framers, and art restorers. Upon collecting the paintings today I was horrified to see that, yes the paintings had been cleaned, but no restorations were effected. There were blemishes that were perhaps there from before, but had been well disguised by the aforementioned filth. The owner of the gallery was summoned, and he informed me that he had asked me whether I needed to have paint inplants done at the time of the pick up. Since I had never been asked this question before, I replied in the negative. The paintings were in no way "restored" and since I never received a phone call to advise me that by the cleaning process blemishes had surfaced, I remained very disappointed. perhaps since this "restorer" is a small little strip mall in the middle of the suburbs should also have warned me that they were in over their head. I have now arranged for the painting to be sent to New York to be restored.If you have art to restore I strongly suggest you find an alternative.

I found furniture, artwork (original and prints), collectibles, jewelry, clothing, lighting, seasonal decor and so much more. I wandered through the entire store twice and saw different pieces each time. I took a number of photos to help show the variety of merchandise. In terms of service, I asked for help measuring a piece and found a friendly face right away. This store is clean and vibrant, but also unpretentious. I realize everyone's budget is different and value is quite subjective. However, I didn't have sticker shock while perusing and I looked at a good number of treasures. Happy shopping, neighbors!

We were meeting friends here to celebrate a birthday with a few kids. I had never been here before…read moreand only had instructions to meet at a designated time. Walking in, it looks like a small painting studio and wasn't very busy/crowded. I arrived ahead of my friend and the young lady asked if we had a reservation. I explained that I hadn't organized the meet up and was waiting for my friend who had. She then proceeded to lecture me - over and over and over and over (seriously it was more than 10 times) that parties over a certain size needed a reservation. So... I called my friend. She said that there wasn't a reservation because she was informed that they are only required for groups over 10 (we had 4 kids who wanted to paint). When I relayed this to the young lady, the lectures started again and I was told that the number 6 for a reservation. A moot point since we are still only 4. After several more minutes of grief-giving, she told me that I could sit in the back room with our group (it was completely empty). While sitting there quietly waiting, she came again ... more lectures. At one point I told her that her point has been made very clearly and asked if we can just move on. So there we waited for the rest of our group. When my friend arrived, the lectures started again. Doing this painting activity was a special request from the birthday kiddo. It wasn't a party; more like a few hours with a couple of besties. If it weren't by special request, I would have walked out and not looked back. As is - this business is not somewhere I will frequent in the future. The customer service was appallingly bad, downright rude, and extremely unprofessional.
